I forgot how much of a pleasure its been not having to listen to Barnes week in week in. Spent 3 minutes talking about someone running a decoy run, also happy to point out the lack of skill in Australia's attempts but praising England for their effort.

Think it’s Cheka to be honest. Don’t rate him as a coach personally.

Whatever about rating him as a coach, I think he can't keep his job if Australia dont improve massively. Their basics are shocking.

Christ I’m sick of listening to Clive Woodward talking about taking 3 points and building a fooking score . It’s like he constantly tries to explain why his England team played ****e rugby.

Ah hell - I thought that was good for Australia.

"Itoje gets himself in an exceptional position for that turnover" says Barnes.

Replay shows he was on his forearms. Silence.

I wish we had Australia in our WC group cause we would hump this lot.

Meh, no different to Ireland commentators with Pom last week.

That was just classy by Foulau.

Can't say, wasn't watching on tv!

Sanchez can't kick today and the Argentinean 8 can't catch the ball.

Cotter on BBC comms is going the same way as Ryle Nugent, seems shocked Argentina haven't come here to get their bellies tickled.

That’s a penalty try and yellow card. Farrell gets away with murder again

  • Administrators Posts: 55,068 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Farrell with another shoulder charge. That’s a penalty try all day.

Jaco Peyper is an appalling referee

Just about to write the same thing! So bad. Farrell got away with another one there

Has to be a penalty try. No arms tackle on try line.

Brett Gosper whines about foul play.

    Peyper is allowed ref games

Farrell should be off the field for that.

How did Farrell get away with that?

Farrell has an unusual tackling style.

    Ridiculous decision.

    "An honest lad".

Seeing it again that’s a staggering decision. Out in the open to see. How can you be so wrong

Full house at Murrayfield and you'd swear it was an Edinburgh home game.

They bought into the "expansive game" soundbites and expected a walkover.

It's nuts that he keeps getting away with that.

England should have lost that first game against South Africa and now if Australia lose by less than 7, he'll have stole another game for them.

Peyper said the Aussie ball carrier "also dropped his shoulder", as if that's a mitigating factor.

Peyper is consistently one of the worst refs out there. A complete bottler on big decisions.

I remember Shane Jennings saying as much in the TV3 coverage during the 2015 World Cup.

Australia have been awful this half. In the scrum preceding that try the England 8 picked from base and ran 20 metres before being tackled.

Have Aus decided not to bother tackling this side of a world cup? :D Poor stuff at Twickenham.
