Can't email hotmail accounts

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
Any emails I send through outlook to hotmail users go straight to their spam folder. Blacknight have recommended getting a new IP but (excuse my ignorance) I rebooted the router and that seems to have changed it, previous IP was on a few blacklists, this one is clean. However the problem has not gone away.
All emails to gmail or to business addresses get delivered and if I send emails through shopify who host my site, they get delivered OK, it's only when it's from my outlook (on PC or phone) that causes the problem.

What is your out-going mail server? Your home IP address shouldn't make a difference

Are you using 3? If so you just can't email hotmail accounts reliably from them because their mail relay is associated with too much spam.

Excuse my ignorance, I wing it with most of this stuff. I'm using Outlook through Blacknight.

I've set up a dummy hotmail address and even when I put my main address as a safe sender, it still goes to spam.

In your Outlook settings, you will have set an "Outgoing Mail Server". That's the server that is actually sending your email to the outside world. If that server is on some blacklists, some incoming mail servers (like hotmail) will reject it or mark it as spam.
