74-24 Wales win...when they woke up they just made Tonga look amateurish.

Ref blows up Japan twice for clearing out beyond the ruck, then keeps his whistle in his pocket when England do it in the course of their try scoring

Some promising performances by the youngsters .... Tonga poor but I'm happy with that.

The Islanders need to be paid on a per tackle basis. It's about the only way it might keep them going for the full 80.

Something that may seem small to most but here goes.

At the end of the game in Cardiff and the Samoans huddle up for their customary post match prayer. The TV camera moves over to the post match interview which is boomed over the in house PA, ignoring the visitors and their post match tradition. For a minute of a wait by all concerned, it would have shown the visitors a touch of respect to hold off on the media duties until they had finished their prayer.

Imagine the outrage if the Haka was interrupted by something like that.

    Crazy decision.

England do it, but some dubious refereeing helping them out.

The Knowles tackle looked like it should have been a yellow as well. Not even replayed on the screens either.

This is great. We don't want England to implode for another 12 months.

What’s this BS of giving out medals after every game

I believe it's called the Manu Siva Tau.

Did England just give themselves medals for beating Japan?

Job done in the end by England. Sounds like some here will be upset by that. Quite sad tbh, afterall they gave NZ a fantastic game last week. We need a strong England side as much the AB's need a strong wallabies and boks team

You're reading way too much into it in your haste to be outraged. People would generally want any underdog to beat any tier 1 country.

As much as we need a strong England, we need a broader pool of viable teams.

Looks like they’re having a rave in Murrayfield lol

Well I don't agree about being hasty but that's alright. I view them as our greatest rival but at the same time its the almost universal dislike of the team from NZ to Scotland and here that's gets fairly tiresome. Tend to judge them on their merits rather than their press.

I agree with the 2nd point. I'd love to see the likes of Georgia and Japan reach tier 1 level.

Anyways, looking forward to SA vs Scotland. Hope it's a cracker

If being huge made someone a good winger then Adam Byrne should be breaking into the Ireland squad.

Having said that, that winger is particularly freakish.

Georgia vs Samoa a good indication of where both sides are at and should be a reasonable game. Have Samoa declined a bit as a rugby nation in last few years?

Anyone know result of this? No sign of it on world rugby site or anywhere else
