The blue part is not for ink, you cannot rub out ink. The blue part is actually for stubborn/dark pencil marks. He wasn't quite as mad as you thought, he was just uneducated in erasers.

The 'mad bastard' at my school was a total scumbag who bullied everyone he could and picked on one lad in particular who after a few years decided he had enough and beat the scumbag to a pulp, knocked him around the yard for several minutes till he had to be dragged away in case he killed him. The scumbag got up crying his little eyes out and started shouting that he would get him back and went away with his scumbag friends to mop up his tears. It settled him slightly but he still liked to think he was the hardman of the school but went quiet anytime the lad to beat the lining from him appeared.

That scumbag bully went on to be a 'celebrity' chef who opened countless restaurants here in Ireland and abroad which all went bust/closed for one reason or another. Haven't heard anything about him recently, thankfully.

Small world, I think I know who you're talking about, by reputation only - not personally

Hung out with one guy a bit until one old kid jumped me one day and he stood there laughing his ass off.
Never talked to him again. He dropped out at some point and was arrested for robbing people's houses. No idea what he's at now.

Another lad was bad **** crazy in school. Sound lad but crazy. Would regularly break windows, cut the cables on the security system , light fires, poured a few drums of cooking oil all over the hallways.
Again no idea what happened to him.

We had a scrote who after multiple other things eventually got expelled after he came into class high and tried to attack the teach with a knife. About 3 years after we left school he beat a guy so badly that the only way the post mortem identified the victim was through his tattoos. The scrote is doing time for murder now, personally i hope of the good of society he dies in prison from a OD.

Our mad bastard used to be in our class for Maths.
Never a day went by that he wasn't fighting.
His family were from Mayo and for the 1985 All Ireland semi final he deliberately went to the Hill to shout for them.
Came into school the Monday after Peter Robinson crossed the border, with his photo on a paper and spent 10 minutes off his head calling him every name he could think of.
Went too far when he beat up a guy from another class, used his rings as a knuckle duster.
Had to give up the teaching and started importing ship loads of seagull sh1t from South America.
Got done big time for tax evasion on forestry grant scheme.
Finally decided his true calling would be as a politician and ran for election in 2016.
    Got 262 votes.
    Differentiate that George.

Taddzer. Pure lunatic. He wasn't in school but was on the estate.

Big for his age at 12, he grew into a tank and had all the subtlety and compassion of one too. He was selling hash at 16, would sell it then if he saw the people he sold to later would beat them up and steal it back off them. Had a gang of horrible scrotes around him, always hopping on people for no reason and doing some pretty serious damage.

The thing was his dad was a Guard and he was pretty untouchable because of that. As he got older he graduated to worse and worse stuff and was eventually mugging people with a hammer. He hit someone over the head with it once while robbing their bike and had to get out of the country after that, not even his dad could cover that one up. He ended up in Amsterdam for a couple of years before coming back home and when he did he looked like a shell of himself. Pale, skinny, sickly looking, really look of someone with a major drug problem.

He died a couple of years after that and there weren't too many people mourning him.

It's odd though, of his 'gang' of hangers on and minor dealers, at least three of them are Gardai now.

Nothing odd about it, I dont know the stats but it would be assumed that a high percentage of Gardai/PSNI were bullies in their school days

We had another lad who had serious anger problems, he actually wasn't a bad lad never bullied people and was actually fairly sound to talk to. But if something happened like someone gave him abuse about family or said something to him he'd go crazy, he threw a chair through a window and another time got so angry he broke his hand from punching the wall. Don't know what happened to him since but i found out years later about some pretty horrible things that went on in his family so i guess their was a reason for his rage. The kind of lad i hope finds some peace of mind and can stay out of trouble because all and all not a bad egg.

2 people I went to school with have been convicted for murder. One of those guys never behaved normally(I know when he was in school he was on meds (I think for ADD and did recreational drugs too) and his murder case was a strange one; there was a rumour in school at the time I was going that he was once caught masturbating in a class by a teacher.

Had a few suicides in the same school during my time going there; the mass said at school for those who died were strange as the priest hinted that we should seek help if we needed it but may have laid it on too thick considering the setting and we had assemblies saying as much beforehand.

During the first few weeks in college a guy in our year committed suicide and not many people knew him so when we were told he passed away it was so weird as most people hadn't got to know him at all.

Writing in the book of condolences is so strange for a suicide victim there truly are no words you can say that sound in the context you want. imo anyway

I remember that guy, during the Celtic Tiger he was ever present but he has now vanished. Once ran a restaurant out of the Fitzwilliam hotel on St.Stephens Green and stopped paying the rent before stealing three valuable paintings off the wall. Got arrested and lost his case in court and the paintings were returned to the hotel. During the boom he opened a lot of restaurants and a lot of people lost money backing him, he had the gift of the gab in securing investment and once he had the money things would go tits up.

    I can think of two.

One of them was a really horrible scote, mugging people, threatening kids with knives, selling drugs and dropped out before the leaving. He had a horrible upbringing and took it out on anyone he wasn't friends with. He ended up moving to Australia and now he's married, has a lovely kid and has completely turned his life around.

Another wasn't as bad, but just a bit of a dickhead, always wanted the attention and the best way to get that was bullying others. Did the leaving, failed and skipped college. Was the area manager for a few big shops in town but left that to pursue another career. Killed himself after an incident with a colleague.

I'd believe it, I know lots of former scumbags that are Guards now.

    Gardai is full of scum.

you sound like the bottom feeders that you hear in the back ground of you tube videos that cut in after some POS has managed to get him self arrested and are surrounding the gardai but are too big a coward to actually interfere

There was a few in my year. A couple I couldn't give two sh1tes about, and it would be too soon if I ever seen them again. If they were anything like they were in school, would not be surprised if they seen a police cell or three since. On the other hand, they could have completley turned their lifes around.

One lad, wouldn't call him mad, an all round popular lad, friends with the bullys, the victims, and anyone in between. Last I heard (20 years ago), he was up in court for a rape charge.

There were several mad basrards in my class one ended up having a row with an out of town drug dealer and ended up being murdered. He was only around 20 at the time.

Stabbed a guy 13 times and managed to beat a murder charge. He got manslaughter.

Used to hang around with the guy for about a year in school.

I went to an all girls school so no mad bastards. But the majority of the mad bitches in my year have been single Mother's since they were 16/17. Very high rate of teenage pregnancies in my year for some reason. By the time I was in 2nd year of college 11 (out of about 60) had kids.

One of the maddest bitches is now a solicitor doing really well for herself. She was always missing school and being suspended but was always great academically.

Not a mad bastard but a hard bastard and the youngest of a family of equally hard individuals

Anyway the 30 year Leaving Cert reunion is coming up and an effort was made to track him down so he could be invited

He is/was the “Sergant at Arms” (enforcer) of a World renowned Hell’s Angels Chapter in the United States

Apart from the stabbed through the heart by his sister, my hometown is a ****hole, out of 126 people I graduated with 7 od'd on gear but here's one I like. One guy I grew up with hung out with the bullies, was one, was 100 percent going to end up in jail or dead, his brother extracted himself from his family got a trade and grew up, tried the same with each of the brothers, only stuck with the guy in my class. He turned his whole life around, got his trade, they opened a business together which is still going today, happily married with 2 kids.

Another guy settled down with his baby momma, but his kid was knocked down and died. Instead of going down the darkside he started a charity thing. Was good to hear

You shouldn't have rode my sister, she's not well in the head and easily led, you knew that. Why, I should have boxed your ears you ruffian, but I wouldn't be caught dead in a tavern, so all things considered, luck was on your side that day Tommy.
