    2 neutrals

    not bad at all

Kill 2 more wolves tomorrow and I'll start getting the bottles ready

I went looking at Gabriels post about barbara and then Gertrude subsequent post. I did a search for the phrase "No Lynch" on day 1.

The only people who referenced no lynch as a viable option or tried to defend their no lynch vote were Wendy, Ewan, Barbara and Liam. 3 of those are confirmed wolves. barbara ?

What's the accusation Vernon? That the wolves, who all would have opted to be keeping their identies from each other, all also agreed to run the exact same game plan and argue against a vote?

Day one (on here, right? Not COP) I struggled to really have an idea who to vote for, so I floated the question whether it was something worth talking about. Not with any level of strength or seriousness. Just wondering aloud. The idea was shot down hard and fast, and I put my vote in for Nigel to shake that tree and see what reaction I got.

Based on what we know, I do think Katie looks better from the day2 vote and I wouldnt have her in my top 2 to go. Perhaps safe from top3

Jake less so. In fact, as the only one on Liam on day1, it could be considered a safe harbour and an attempted clear later

Ewan is on Henry on day2 and again I think is another good safe harbour vote. Both of those votes are playing the long games votes.

therefore i think Henry and Jake are two good options for shots

Seems like a sensible play as a wolf to try get a no lynch considering the situation you were in and not knowing who was and wasn't on your team. So not at all surprising 3 wolves tried and a 4th may have potentially tried to get a no lynch going!

The twins should come out if it'll help reduce our pool of suspects.

If one half is already confirmed we can take their word on the other half. If both are unconfirmed you can confirm each other. If we've two pairs doing so we then have certain wolf in one of the pairs.

I've reread the OP on the twins. They've no actual power so I don't see a downside to them coming out.

I get what you're saying here but it might be worth waiting until after the munch to do this. I'm never a fan of giving the wolves more info than they need. Like when Holly got her 2nd shot on target I suspected she was vig but I definitely wasn't going to say it, even if the wolves could have made a good guess on that too. Keep 'em guessing.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,635 ✭✭✭Gabriel WW

    Yeah, that's fair.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,830 ✭✭✭Derry WW

Ok...been having a read back and have some ideas, but for now, just look at the post counts. We're still looking for 3 wolves right?

    Brendan WW 154
    Katie WW 93
    Barbara WW 59
    Vernon WW 59

    Henry WW 21
    Jake WW 20
    Clodagh WW 5

There has to be at least one wolf in that top bracket and I think it's most likely to be Barbara.
I think it's highly likely that Henry and Jake are the other wolves but there is always the possibility that there are two in the more active group. We definitely need strategy at the ITA today and those top 4 have the better chance of landing a shot than either Henry or Jake. So if one of Brendan, Katie, Barbara or Vernon lands a shot on Henry or Jake we can take out a wolf and confirm another villager.
If none of their shots land, well, we will likely still have 3 confirmed villagers who can take shots. I'm kind of dismissing Clodagh for the moment but we need to look at her post-ITA.

The narrative that most people seem to subscribe to is that the wolves didn’t know who they are. Since their was 3 wolves effectively on different teams with different motives , it’s hard to see how any of them could come out and reveal.

This also sort of explains the FBI kill mechanic because i presume an invalid wolf kill is when they pick one of themselves for a munch, the FBI gets to take up the kill. In all fairness to the Mods they made everything as clear as possible in the OP. I suppose it’s easier to figure out the mechanics then it is who is a wolf.

The first time I actually mentioned the different teams somebody (think Derry) attacked me for adding little to the village. Considering I didn’t think anybody had mentioned it at that time I thought that was a tad unfair.

The biggest reason I can see as to why I’m suspect is my amount of posts. Also I haven’t contributed much so I’m a fairly useless villager. At this stage that’s fair and as good a reason as any to be on the block. I’ve never posted as little in a game as I have this game but I wasn’t sure that I would have the time to put into it.

Oh, thanks Gabriel for giving me the heads up about the Necro sopranos link. :)

Ah Jakey boy...I've just been reading back over your posts and I'm afraid they do smell of wolf :(

I didn't in fact attack you for mentioning the different wolf teams, I agreed with you somewhat. The reason I went after you was your explanation for voting for Liam. It read as shady then and still does now. You claimed you voted for people as a tactic to get them to engage more - claimed it for Liam AND Clodagh - but you never followed through on the engagement yourself.

All your posts are nice and reasonable. I'd say you're the calm wolf, handles pressure well. Maybe you'd even make a good double agent.

No problem. And now, when you finally get around to watching it, you can have the added pleasure, any time Big Pussy is on screen of saying: "Hey, I was him once! Lasted a long time too."

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,830 ✭✭✭Derry WW

Could Henry be Junior? That'd make Barbara Silvio if I'm right.

Very quiet around here with 20 mins to go to the munch.

Careful now. When I pointed out how quiet it was, I got called a wolf.

    Ah yes...but I'm a gun toting badass who shoots...er...villagers. :o

Seriously, this game is bad for my work output. Technically had the week off but needed to earn some cash. I don't deserve to get paid. Thankfully this game is anon

Why would I need to follow up on Liam? There was enough heat on him for his backroom comments.

And on clodagh , I did the same thing. Maybe I am a villager who simply didn’t put much into the game and chose easy options. Or Maybe I am a big pussy as Gabriel put it.

I don’t blame Henry or clodagh for not replying and think it would of been better if I had taken that strategy this morning. What I would suggest is they keep quiet whether good or bad cause I’m the perfect example of what happens when you are a low poster trying to engage.

Which 3 of the 7 unknowns do you reckon are the last wolves?

    Role Clarification:

Added extra clarification regarding role, which was not laid out in origional role description in op or pms.
BodyVigs - working alongside the village to eliminate both the Sopranos and FBI forever. Bodyvig, bodyguard/vigilante, can protect one player, not the same player twice in a row, for an entire phase (lynch to lynch), or shoot a player during the ITA sessions, which will find its target automatically unless they are protected by any means. The choice to protect means the player is immune to any actions affecting them other than the lynch: kills, peeks, conversion attempts etc - whilst under protection.

Modbot is displeased with this omission and has punished the humans accordingly.

As I’ve said I haven’t been here enough to give a fair read. It’s one of the reasons I focused on game mechanics.

From a village perspective I suppose at least one of me Henry and clodagh are wolves. Barbara seems a good shout aswell and a good shout for the wolf that’s blended in. I usually make sure I’m in mid of the range post count so that’s a good bet...

So in terms of today. Better to wait until 1pm and do some shooting before going for a majority lynch?
