Happy with the exit poll but I think it will swing even more favorably to Casey in the real poll as answering Casey in a public manner would not be popular still on an in person poll. Watch this space.

Thats exactly what oeopke said about the 8th abd ssme sex marriage..

Both exit polls tell the same story,
    MDH going nowhere

Clearly shows how out of step AH is with broad public sentiment. You'd swear Casey had it in the bag with everyone congratulating each other for voting for him and exclaiming how everyone and their dog was leaving the voting station having voted for him.

I think the common thread was Mickey d was gonna win, the rest of us were just hoping that Casey got a good run on it. The higher the better.

From 2 to 20%. Not bad in a week. This will be a message in itself.
I’m delighted that all the Rural People who are afraid in their homes will be heard tonight . Thank You . Peter Casey .

just seen a tweet from tipperary where a michael d supporter is filling in ballads for michael d and throwin the casey ballads in the bin

is there any thing hillary and the democrats wont sink to
why do they hate our freedom

Didn't know either MDH or Casey were singers.

If that translates to the proper vote, its still a very good showing for casey.

While all the status quo loveys will be cheering and smiling about the static victory in a wildly shifting society, they'll secretly be sh*tting bricks, knowing what way the wind is blowing now.

    Tick tock.

We just wanted a good second to get the ball rolling

    And we have it

Reasons why Casey jumped from 2% to 21%. Exhibit A.

Reason he jumped to 21 is because he said he hates travelers.

And there is a minority out there that are *****

Yes . Minority. And theyre *****.

If it was up to that 21% we probably all be broke living back under the Catholic church and eating spuds praying to a statue of Dev

It's interesting that AH has a vastly higher percentage of cunts Peter Casey voters than the country as a whole.

    Jesus lad, take it easy.

Just because someone votes/voted to a different persuasion than yours is no reason to be calling them cúnts.

    Chill out.

    Specifically

A few higher percentage in his favour, nothing more dramatic than that!

After the highs of the Repeal the 8th, it's nice to be brought back down to earth with Casey's vote share, and reminded just how many people in this country (and on this forum in particular) are utter cúnts (hopefully blasphemy is legal now).

This place is going to the MRA dogs.

nice. classy. there will be no dialogue my thoughts are better than urs eh?

Casey is a tinker? Well that's news to me.

No he's a millionaire who brags about "only" buying a Jaguar or a 1.4 million farm in Derry when "that was a lot of money". That's exactly what the actual privileged minority is.

It's hilarious that you people actually fell for his guff when it's clear all he cares about is money and played a hail mary to get his expenses back.

Absolutely no surprise MDH was re elected. He was the only candidate that was really fit for office. Rest of them hadn’t a clue what the presidency even entailed.

Delighted the Duffy and Gallagher fellas got sweet FA votes.

Voted for Casey for the laugh really. Completely agreed with his comments on travellers and then the lies that came from the others about them moving in down the round for them.

He is a winner from this also going from 2 to 20% in a week is fairly remarkable and will be interesting to see how the media portrays his performance and why his vote was fairly large

    so

are the casey crowd represented in this poll liars, trolls or paid?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

That's a disasterous result for LnR. About half of what McGuinness received in 2011.

Just because someone votes/voted to a different persuasion than yours is no reason to be calling them cúnts.

Nah. Anyone handing my money over to some two bit business man from up the country because he said he hates travellers is a prick and deserves to be called a gob****e.

You don't get a pat on the back from me. Your a muppet. Don't waste my money on some plank who will represent my country in a manner that is not fitting to the nation.

    No thanks. Never

The only thing Casey said about travellers is that they should not get any special treatment and that they should be treated like everyone else.

    Equality.

Seems it didn't affect the Mdh vote too much and took from all the others.

But looking forward to visiting Boylesports tomorrow, would have been even better if Mdh was under 50%
