I gave up drink roughly 18 months ago. I was a 3-4 night a week guy and about 3-4 pints at that with maybe Saturday a couple more. A regular drinker sure but anything crazy not too regularly. I gave up due to changing jobs and a minor enough health problem which I just beat.

I thought that I’d miss it but I don’t. If I never put a pint up to my lips again it wouldn’t bother me. I guess I miss it from a social perspective *at times* and maybe moreso coming into the winter but I’m healthier, of mind, body and pocket. I’ve tones of energy for the gym, staying healthy and having revisited my priorities it’s definitely the way forward for me now.
