Do me one favour; let me know, in aftermath of not signing the PPP if you get a communication from Intreo/Dept. of Employment Affairs and Social Protection/Dole Office that you're being excused for a period of 12 months.

Because if you do get this then they've committed fraud and forgery; they did it with me.

Letter should arrive within a week or fortnight of starting.

When you’ve challenged them about the fraud and the forgery how have they responded?

What should i do if i receive such a letter?Im actually a bit worried now.

Please don’t take any advice from a totally anonymous stranger on an internet chat room. Please don’t waste any of your money on a solicitor and please don’t get into trouble with the Gardai by asking them to take statements. This is really ridiculous.

Consult a solr.; approach your local barracks about making a statement.

Your name being signed (don't be fooled; they'll try offer you an electronic pen to complete your signature on screen; insist on getting a copy to bring away with you and don't sign it; it's a contract) without your consent or by you or on your behalf is forgery.

They receive a payment; that's fraud.

You’ve had legal advice and the advice is that TN have committed fraud and forgery? You are advising another poster based on legal advice that is being acted on? At what stage is your case for fraud and forgery against TN?

Splinter sorry if you already answered this. Would you sign the PPP?

I ask because my contract is up soon and its not looking like its getting renewed so I potentially could be dealing with these in a few weeks. Ideally I will have another job by then but in a worst case scenario I will be in their offices before too long. The idea of being sent on CV building courses and interview preparation is just horrible but as far as I know thats what is in store for me.

What do you think the consequences will be for you if you are without a job, sign for a Jobseekers payment, get referred to TN and sign up with them?

While I agree that getting a solicitor would be a waste of money, you realise you're also a stranger on the internet giving advice, yes?

Yes I am. Do you think it’s a good idea to go into a Garda station and say you want to report a criminal case of fraud and forgery? If the poster makes an appointment to see a solicitor to persue a civil case about fraud and forgery as advised by this person then do you think that the solicitor will take instructions pro bono ?

I have always done what the department asked.I recently completed a TUS program.I am more than happy to attend any meetings or courses, that seetec organize and wish for me to attend. But i don't trust the motives of Seetec/Turas Nua.I believe that they are a company, who's only motivation is profit. That they do not have the best interests of the job seeker at heart.

So for those very reasons, as well as exercising my right not to agree to the data protection consent clause, and my right not to agree to give them consent to contact future employers, i won't be signing the ppp.If this was a program run solely by the department of social protection, then i would sign the ppp no bother. But im not signing any contracts, with an organisation that i believe treats it clients, as vulnerable prey to exploit and make money from.

So if that’s your position having investigated TN fully, then you’ve every right to stick to your guns and I admire you for being prepared to stick your head above the parapet for a principle even if it means having to possibly suffer some consequences.
Update us regularly and let us know how you’re getting on.

Well i am willing to attend all meetings and courses, on the jobpath program. It says on section 15 of the jobpath faq section, on the social welfare website, that my personal advisor will ask for my consent to contact employers or future employers on my behalf. It clearly says on the website, that i am under no obligation to give this consent.I have a right not to consent to the data protection clause, under article 8(2) of the charter of fundamental rights of the eu.So unless you work for the department, your thinly veiled threats don't wash with me.

Have a look at section 15 here, and then come back to me.

If you think I’m making “thinly veiled threats” you really should report my post and let the mods deal with it.
Your tying yourself up in knots needlessly. You haven’t even been let go yet. How do you know you won’t get a job in the next couple of weeks? How do you know you will be on Jobseekers for long enough to be referred to TN?? It’s coming up to Christmas. Loads of places will be looking for employees, but you're already in the TN office, not even giving them a chance to help you.

I have the information session to attend this Monday.I've been thrown to seetec, 2 weeks after completing a TUS scheme. As i said i am willing to take part in the program.I just do not wish to sign the personal progression plan.So i am willing to accept their help, but not under contract to them.

Well unless someone can find a job within 2 weeks of signing on the dole, you will be referred to them.

I have done the Seetec thing. No major complaints. Maybe I was lucky.

Some of the courses could be done in an hour not 8.

And they only care about people with "degrees" .

So just take any job you can get while your looking for a job that you like. Worst that can happen is you have to apply for WFP if it’s low paid and you have kids.

What are u on about? Maybe you can’t just get any job in two weeks, has that every crossed your mind, can you ever contribute something constructive to this thread besides your usual bullsh*t...

Nobody knows what your association or experience is with Turas Nua yet your on here day and night defending them. For what reason???

My daughter is a full time student and she has 3 part time jobs and we live in a medium sized market town. I’m not on here defending anyone. I’m certainly not on day and night.
What’s bull**** is the pretending that there are no jobs and what’s endlessly fascinating is the fury displayed when people apply for Jobseekers and they don’t like the terms and conditions attached.
If you don’t like the Ts&Cs then why don’t you sign off again?

Sorry you know well I’m not signed on since my last post here was about being contacted by them and I’m in full time employment.

Didn’t ask about your live story, don’t care either.

What is your experience and association with Turas Nua?

You don’t “care” about my “live situation” but in the next sentence you feel you can demand to know my personal details. Are you trying to restrict the conditions of posting in this thread? I think I called you out on this before....

You posted about a family member having three jobs and where you live, what has that got to do with Turas Nua?

You can’t answer a simple question about what your experiences are with Turas Nua?

I wouldn’t be on this thread if I never had experiences of being with Turas Nua so in what capacity are you on this thread?

As a previous jobseeker who Turas Nua found employment for or you are a Turas Nua employee?

I’m mystified as to why you keep insisting that anyone who wants to post on this thread must declare their interest.
On what grounds are you demanding these answers from me? You have zero authority to demand anything from anybody on this thread or any thread. Zero. If you want to discuss the shortcomings of TN privately with other posters who agree with you and not be interrupted by another opinion then you should really be PMing each other.
