That was classic Ray. All he had to do was say sure thing. You could see the wheels turning in his head as he prosessed the request.

Am I allowed to ask boardsies who they will be voting for in next week’s Presidential election?

Or if they are voting at all?

    RAY’S CUE CARD:-

    Nod and agree.
    Sigh.
    Over-the-top-laugh.
    Sigh.
    Sigh.

She reminds me of Dr Ruth, who used to be on the LLS and every other talk show regularly in the 1980s

    Still alive, apparently. Hurray! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruth_Westheimer

I'm just going to watch this and not comment. It's beyond comment for me.

Lady starts talking about love and dancing.

Ray brushes it off and moves quickly onto the gas chambers.

    Classic RTE misery slot routine.

    Monty Brewster, as usual

We are having a single thread for multiple shows this weekend as a consequence of nobody starting a thread for the LLS yesterday until after the show started.

I believe it will encourage more people to take the plunge and begin threads, or risk having to endure multi show threads with evolving titles.

I now realise I sound like Ray Darcy, there are no winners in this debacle.
    :pac:

But wait ...what chaos have you wrought?...did you not think of the children:confused:
sorry guys got confused and posted a new Ray Darcy thread- I've reported my own thread to get it deleted. Evening all :D

    Everyone needs to vote.

Micheal D will get my vote, and the only way he won't get it in if people take his victory for granted and the seemingly thousands of people invigourated by that dragon gimp's fairly unspectacular comments about travellers get all motivated to make their voices heard.

God help us if the person elected to represent us in the White House around Patrick's Day is only there cos of his ability to make a semi controversial comment on some half arsed radio interview.

Like a Presidential Candidate polling at 2% and facing humiliation and bankruptcy, I have to grimly see this through to the end and suffer the consequences.

I get your point but the survivors of the camps are getting old now and it won't be long before there are none left. its important to hear their stories.

Is there anything new in this interview?

'How did you find out your mother had been gassed?'

Nothing to see here, just another routine chat show question on Ireland's light entertainment platform. Move on.

The US soldiers used to go to the local ceilidhs here in south Derry in WW2, my granny got lifts to school on their trucks, I don't think the army 40 years later bothered with the ceilidhs

I'm getting plenty out of it to be honest. They all have inspiring quotes
