I think the number of good luck messages says a lot about your popularity in these parts.

All the best Barry. Hoping a good result will take your mind off that terrible American Football team you support! DFIU.

Barry is going great in Cologne. Dead even splits, passed 35k. If he holds this pace it's about 3:11 ish. Fingers crossed.

3.15.10 as ye all know at this stage, suffered like a dog the last 4 miles again cramping quiet badly in my hamstrings and hips. Said the names of our children repeatedly to try block out the pain. The marathon isn’t my distance, won’t stop me trying again though as I love the training involved for one. The Köln experience itself was excellent, cannot recommend it highly enough. Will obviously give more details when I get it all clear in my head over the coming days.

Am humbled by all the messages of good luck this past week be it here, WhatsApp or Facebook, I was never a popular one but huge thank you one and all. Now to hit the Brehaus’!!!!

Joking aside that's a fantastic PB, especially given the setback, am really really delighted for you B. Make sure you take it easy now for the next week or so, you've a big job ahead in 3 weeks (buying my birthday pints :D).
