Jesus h christ... Neither team can secure their own ball off a line out.

We should be pouncing on both of these boyos in the line out in November.

Interesting how the ref overruled the TMO there by saying it wasn't a double movement, ref said he just extended his hands.
Does that mean in order for it to be a "double movement" a player has to wriggle his whole body worm-style?

Extending your arms has never counted as a second movement. For it to be considered a second movement, all momentum must have stopped and the player must move again towards the line.

Not taking the foot off the pedal anyway.

I think the better game will be in Buenos aries where Argentina are favourites against Australia

With probably the worst set piece battle international rugby has seen in a long time they have both been dreadful recently

Seemed like they gave plenty to me. Was great to see.

The shoulder in the ruck? Or the offside?

    Every penalty

Angus Gardner, that's embarrassing. He did not throw it forward into him.

Faf De Klerk is unreal. Best scrumhalf in the world at the moment.

I'd be fcuking raging if my own team didn't get that call.

I hate those calls not to give a penalty when it’s deemed a deliberate pass. So what. It’s an illegal line. What about Du Toit deliberately running beside the ruck to slow NZ down? Do NZ have to wait for him to get back given if they want to go right they’re clearly going to see him and if that’s the case it’ll be seen as deliberate?

My immediate thought was if he threw it forward why did play not stop for a forward pass.

    Exactly.

SA needed points from all their possession and territory. I'm guessing they'll be blown away in the second half but hopefully it stays a contest.

The cheap shot in the ruck

First impression was le Roux used his man to make the line break, but the replay didn't go back that far.

SA really dominating this game. NZ have had little possession and territory and are making so many errors

  • Posts: 13,106 Markus Damaged Teaspoon

Ahhhhh Faf. That could be costly.

Really long way back for the Ab’s now. Second best to everything today.

And a very quick reply from Smith.

Multiple borderline passes have been allowed to go for SA, so wouldn't be happy if that was called back.
