Strange first half. Lacey very whistle happy in the beginning which made the opening 20 very stop start. Leinster after look good until the final pass has to go. Some very poor errors in Connacht's 22.

VdF the best player on the pitch. Tomane will get a bit of flack his performance but Rob Kearney's been very poor as well.

The Healy thing is gas :)

What is that? I can't make out what the crowd are chanting

    VdF motm so far

From memory he has been consistently the best player for Leinster in this fixture, home and away, for the last couple of seasons

Tomane is taking longer to settle for a player of his experience.

In fairness to Healy he pretended to line up a kick earlier and got rapturous applause from classier Connacht heads than I.

Think a yellow will kill us here. We weren't in their 22 nearly all match.

Copeland and SOBII doing serious work but VdF is a class above.

I think Luke McGrath has been pretty rubbish after not being great last week either.

Not good when your international rival is lining up opposite you

Weak defence by Connacht but well taken by Ringrose.

Furlong seemed to get in Roux's way a bit.

    Àwesome!

We need Ringrose hitting form going up against the Kiwis in November. :)

For all their yips with the handling today, Leinster seem to have a knack for scoring in that crucial period either side of half time.

VDF covering a lot of ground.

Tomane doesn't look like good business.

Heffernan has come on a great deal in 12 months.

Phenomenal defense. Connacht have no answer in the redzone.

Heffernan went over straight away asking for a check and the ref didnt want to know

  • What do you even say about VdF at this point. So many quality interventions in that passage.

You say SoB has a job of work on his hands in blue and green alike.

It took the ref to stop Larmour there.

  • Leinster should be a score further ahead at least. If Connacht come back and win this, which is entirely possible, Leinster really can only blame themselves.

Agreed. We are just making it hard for ourselves here.

Crap rugby. Great entertainment, have a sinking feeling someone important to the Irish setup for autumns gonna take a knock though.

I dunno lads, man for man its a more even contest than that describes, a lot of spoiling on both sides, I think Leinster are beginning to open up some daylight and itll show on scoreboard at the end.

Fainga'a taken off coz he couldn't handle VdF.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,503 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

    And there it is.

  • Now that's a significant score. Lot harder for Connacht now.

    Get over

Leinster could BP this. Connacht haven't an answer.
