Btw Derry, you never replied that to my query to your wolf accusation on me: If I'm a wolf and this is a plan from the backroom, the fact that I begged the vig to hold twice on Orla, fúcking Orla, that puts Orla in the backroom with me as well as Wini.

How likely, after the amount of words and time I've devoted to Orla, am I to be in a wolf BR with her? That would be just wolf suicide given all we've thrown at each other. It's good for wolves to interact on thread of course to cover their tracks, but what me and Orla were doing to each other was pure destruction.

    Orla, confirmation?

Also, Wini, with these notes, did you leave hints over the last few days whereby if you had died from picking wrong, we'd have known why you died?

Yes, my references to killing Orla was always later, later - I didn't want to roll back fully because if she had some heat, wolves might not munch her.

She's good at creating that for herself though...

Thankfully im not the only one worried about this, like with a lot of this game there has been a lot of distractions but the wolves not going for an outed BG & Vig to instead go for an unknown seems very odd to me and def has me worried.

Orla being one of the others is one of the few things that would make sense of Wini not voting for Orla. That said why would Wini think Orla a villager given how she acted towards her, just keeping up appearances after spotting something we missed?

If seer is still around he should peek Wini. That would lend credence to the claim. It wouldn't confirm it entirely though as she could still be Irene though I guess.

I don't believe this at all.
Would like the 4th person to volunteer without being named though.

If those revealed names turn out to be a mix of me, Orla and others who seem like they definitely would NOT be on a wolf team conspiring in the BR, well then maybe we should start to take Wini's claim seriously.

Well seeing as Wini is now claiming she only messaged 2 people, it only leaves one more unknown to confirm.

Also I'm really not following you here. Are you saying that 1. Orla doesn't seem she would be on the wolf team and 2. that claiming to have messaged Orla means she's being honest?

I'm curious as to why no one else has claimed to have gotten a message. I think it's very convenient that Wini comes out with this after her strange voting pattern. I also think it's very easy for a wolf to send a message and then have one of their wolfy buddies come forward and claim they got one too previously.

Yeah that would be far better than naming them. The one thing that has me leaning towards believing it is that Orla, Wini & Eva would be one hell of a messed up wolf team with all 3 at each others throats or at least at Orla's for big chunks of the game. It'll be interesting how the 4th claimee fits this dynamic and if they actually believe the messages. Eva seems to thus far

I messaged three? The person I haven't confirmed on thread, I'd prefer them to do that themselves if it's absolutely necessary.

Where did Wini claim this? I still thought it was 3, Orla, Eva and other.

Also not everyone is around at the moment. It could be one of those.

    9.03am Monday.

07.15am Tuesday (I was really busy at work and had to send things out)

    09.04am this morning.

So you did send 3 messages? You don't seem to know how many you've sent.

And I just see you claimed you messaged Orla as I thought you would.

I fail to see how you saying you messaged Eva and Orla clears all three of you? I'm more inclined to believe that Eva is villagey. And I think it's all very nice and tidy that in trying to confirm Orla and yourself as good guys, you use the very person that was doubting Orla.

ALSO, if you risked death by messaging an evil person, why would you message someone who had been on your FFA already?

I sent three messages at the times I posted, Tuesday's was earlier as I was crazy busy at work

I dunno who you are, but I can't communicate with anyone, only send a note. I just have my backroom all to myself.

As I said, I have two confirmed villagers already, but I don't want to reveal them on thread unless I have to.

    Apologies, I misinterpreted this post.

My other points still stand though. If you knew messaging someone on the evil team would kill you, why did you message Orla?

    To further add...

    Timeline: I message Orla Monday.

FFA her before the munch with Des and Mary

Vote her as I told her in my message I would.

Kept the dynamic going to give her cover, so she'd be able to confirm me.

Messaged another person Tuesday (hoping they reveal themselves)

gave them something to identify myself.

Messaged Eva this morning. Gave her the codeword candyfloss

This is actually a good point - if you genuinely thought Orla was evil why send her a message and risk getting killed without leaving a clue on thread?

Cos she's a player that's hard to read, worth the risk to have her confirmed one way or the other.

And I didn't FFA her until after I sent the message to her. That was part of my plan...

I'm saying, as I've specified to Derry twice, that if this is some elaborate wolf plan then it puts me, Wini and Clodagh in a wolf backroom together.

If it is not an elaborate wolf plan, or even if Wini herself is telling the truth, then me and Orla are confirmed villagers and both have huge egg on our faces.

After all that me and Orla have been through, the shít flung, we now find ourselves in the ideally great but really awkward position where someone could clear us both as villagers. A situation where we have been flat-out wrong about each other for a long time.

Well, has that 3rd villager come out yet? If 3 villagers come out and support Wini's claim, well either you have your 4 wolves who concocted a plan, or Wini's claim needs to be taken more seriously.

Wini can clear herself and 3 others here, so as I said in my first post about any of this when I just asked you not to shoot her, this could be huge for the village.

So you messaged Orla on Monday monring, hoping she was innocent and put her on your FFA in case she wasn't. But then continued to FFA her to "cover" her?

I'm not buying that. The easiest FFA to budge from is your first one. ALSO why not start dropping hints? Your ability is a risky one that could get you killed along with your valuable into. Why not drop hints? Why not amend your FFAs so that, if you died, we'd know who you HADN'T cleared from your FFAs? I also see how you having her on your FFA gives her cover when a good chunk of the room is already suspcious of her.

I think it's odd then that after Orla pushing for Eva's lynch, you'd then peak Eva, knowing you could die.

I did drop hints all day yesterday, I wanted Desmond dead, I was clear on that over and over again and you shot him.

Orla is good, but she's no way brilliant at this game, I've seen her tunnel before. I could have taken the easy way out and messaged you, but is it not better to have confirmation on Eva one way or the other?

She's not clear yet, I could die tonight?

I didn't think this elaborate plan put the three of ye in the back room together. You could just be the innocent used to cover the wolves. Why are you so sure that wini did message Orla? The more you cling to the idea that this puts all three of ye in the same boat, makes me more suspicious of you.

A third villager isn't going to come out, because, if Wini followed the pattern that she claimed she followed for Orla, the person she messaged on day 2 would be on her FFA and wouldn't it be awful handy if the person she messaged was Dessie?

Well I know what my lunchtime is going to be spent on now!

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,409 ✭✭✭Orla WW

Seeing as you mention it repeatedly...

Orla was who I messaged Monday.

I identified myself by saying I'd vote for them in the lynch. I figured day 1, not too risky, and if I was revealed to priest and Orla was a wolf then people might figure it out.

But I couldn't really roll back in on my attack on Orla (when Desmond was my real target, I keep calling him the smart wolf if you read my posts).

So when Desmond got shot, I had to vote Babs off my FFA

Heh, yeah I got a message alright. Wasn't sure if it was Winnie or Nigel, but mine read the same as what Eva is claiming.

So I guess if Winnie doesn't die this evening I might owe Eva an apology :o

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,864 ✭✭✭Nigel WW

@Eva, @Orla - what are your thoughts on Wini? I guess I believe you both that you did receive a message from her, but do you think she's playing for Village or Wolves?

You not dying tonight doesn't clear either of you though.

You not dying tonight doesn't prove whether you've been honest about messaging Orla.

I meant drop hints as to your role or who was good.
You wanting Dessie dead means nothing. If you thought he was evil, you wouldn't have peaked him, am I right? SO your opinion on Dessie doesn't mean much more than any one elses opinion on Dessie because you can't prove his allegiance one way or another!

I got a message, yeah. Tbh, I thought it might have been you as you railed back in pretty quickly on your vote on me, but I guess it was Winnie.

Basically said that they were trying to form a village core, if I was evil she'd die in 12 hours.

Got it about 9.20am or so. Said they'd identify themselves by voting me in the lynch.

So I thought it was you, tbh - especially with the 'have to vote for someone' excuse.

Actually if Dessie lived I would of messaged him and come out on thread today as no one seemed to be listening to me about anything.

Really think the i'll vote for you thing is an odd choice as no offense Orla but I wouldn't have been confident nobody else would vote for you. That said what your saying at least lines up with what Wini said. Does not confirm it but still matches it

I don't want to  It seems pretty OP, tbh. Also it means I might have railroaded Eva like a big tunnelling galoot...:(
