Yes, the only issue in finding compared to pc gaming is that the game needs to have controller support. I'm like you don't have much time for gaming so this is a great alternative

Ya, I imagine the controller requirement limits the options but sounds good!

I played call of duty ww2 online last night and it was a bit laggy couldn't play it but i did a cpuple of staged of dirt rally and it seemed spot on.

Yeah you pretty much buy on steam and stream them from stream or uplay...

I find Wifi can be a bit laggy if doing anything in "real time" online so I've mine hooked up to powerline adapters and they are working perfectly.

The apps will be different for everyone depending on their maim uses, my main ones getting used are
emby (I pay for a subscription too lazy to have my own content)
    Stb emu for iptv
Uk tv players using a smart dns
    Netflix using a Turkish subscription
    GeForce

    The internet isn’t for everyone

Pretty much the same as all of the above with retroX on top.

The regular version works just fine for me, as far as I know the only difference in the pro version was no adverts, I’m on the free one for a year now and haven’t seen a single advert

Oh yeah make sure you pay for the software that helps you use illegal streaming services. It was free for ages and on reputable sites as well. No harm in asking if you can still get it for free.
And for your information I have a subscription to Spotify and Netflix

It’s an iptv app, loads of them about and your provider will recommend which one works best for their service

Lads with the free stb be careful because it doesn't update itself. Some older versions won't run newer stalker portals properly will experience stuttering channels.

Probably a naive question but is there any free IPTV service that offers all Irish channels in HD? The only way I can see to get them is to have a Sky HD sub.

Simple answer is anything that's free isn't worth touching mate unless you go for the rte player type apps.

I wonder if we'll soon be able to add the likes of rte player or tv3 player etc soon now that they're implementing mouse.support?

Doubtful RTE or Virgin Media will put the effort into an Android TV version of their app.

Sideloading I know was always an option anyway, but I could never get either to function properly on the shield anyway.

I think I read on here somewhere that the controller (game type) can act as a mouse but I never got around to testing it.
