    The sword vanishes and Mr.S, Iuric and Karinth appear next to Sarric.

    Karinth is very worried.

    "How? That wasn't magic, I didn't feel the weave move"

    "So Retula..." Mr.S asks "...thinking of avoiding the black and blue liquids? Different tactic?"

    Ooc : to be clear, she's been assuming something weird and nonlinear is going on since Citra charged up those stairs without a second thought. The idea of the past being malleable depending on what present you want has become very familiar to her in the last 1800 years.

    Sarric backs up as far as he can the bursts into a run flapping his arms and before reaching the fluid jumps/flys to the stairs.

    Just before Sarric begins his run Iuric has a good look at the liquid. It seems clearly living to him.

    As Sarric leaps the green fluid attempts to grab him, but he jumps just a bit too high for it.

    He lands on the other side safe and sound.

    The green fluid shudders and contracts slightly shortly afterward (OOC: Iuric's Dreadful aspect), it returns to its normal shape, but doesn't move as much.

    Up the stairs Sarric sees a laboratory with several victims chained to metal slabs. A beholder tends to them. A skeletal figure, 10 foot tall, in a floral dress sits spinning a fabric between its hands. Occasionally pulling more fabric from one of the victim's skulls.

    Scanning the room he notices that the alcove Retula and Sarric headed through is now covered in a mist. The stairs behind the Hydra are the only way out.

    "Sora and myself will accompany you Vrakrash"

    Sora nods.

    "Certainly...from a distance"

    In front of him is a long corridor with glass walls. A sea full of large whales and sharks lies overhead.

    "Incredible!" Ser Boros gasps.

    The tunnel is long, but leads to a vault door.
