Mags and Stroupy climb, slipping and bruising themselves the odd time, but never anything to serious (OOC: 4HP lost).

They eventually climb through the rubble out into an island. Large stones lie knocked aside on the ground next to them as they gaze out over a sun kissed lake.

In the distance several islands shoot beams of energy converging on two islands in the distance.

On one of the islands emitting the beams, Mags spots the millipede queen curled up and asleep.

Mags starts swimming towards the two islands where the beams are meeting. He casts Magehand to pinch him by the scruff of the neck to keep him buoyant, like a lifejacket.

Being carried across to the distant islands, the sun brings out the green Mags's Orc and Octopus heritage. Stroupy summons a cloud and jumps on, holding a magic item in his hand.



As they land, only one portal is open. The others of their party seemingly gone.

OOC: OldGoat is ahead of others timeline wise

Mags checks the beach and around the portal for signs of recent use.
He set's up a campfire by the water and waits for the others to arrive. He passes the time further studying the music he found in the treasure room and (if possible) the tunes he looted from himself.

As he walks the beach he sees that the others must have entered a portal now gone as he finds footprints leading to a hemispherical area cut out of the sand.

The tunes he looted are from a Mags who was a bit ahead of him experience wise. As he reads them and the tune from the treasure room, he gets hints of a greater song. First in his mind, then he feels it in the beach sand...then in Stroupy...now it is audible, coming from the open portal...it calls to him.

"What is that song?" Stroupy asks, he too gazing at the portal.

OOC: A tad confused by the timeline jump. I thought I got to the island before the others, before they got here and passed through the portal. I assumed I was waiting for them but if they have already gone through I'd follow immediately rather that laze on the beach drinking Mai tai cocktails.

OOC: Well depends on the quality of the cocktails . Basically the worm went through the fortress chasing them while you and Stroupy watched, then ye followed once it was gone
