Turn off voice control?

Lads, i have an embarrassing issue with my old android galaxy s7 tablet that i need your help with.

So i haven't used it in a while so recently powered it up and did all the updates and all 9f a sudden it wont allow me to type in password for my wifi and will only take voice commands.

Thats all well and good but my wifi password is ***-****-**** and voice command does not recognize hyphen (spoken)

Any one know how to get this back to normal wher a man can just type in his password so i can get back to reading books on it?

Keyboard work at all for anything ? Screen work at all ?

Go to the play store, install Gboard, set that as your keyboard.

I'm assuming you still have mobile data to be able to do this.

Just an idea, but could you try to say 'dash' instead of hyphen?

Hi guys,

Yeah screen/tablet works perfectly i just cant enter password for wifi manually as it has somehow set default to voice only.

Have no data sorry its a tablet not phone and no port for sim card so have to use wifi.

Edit: im such a gobsh1te lads its a NEXUS 7 not galaxy as said in op

Tried dash and still getting same result, it puts in the word dash
