Your man who starred in it died during it did he?

I was more hinting at him being killed on set by a 'prop' weapon. But thatll do.

Right, I'll try and be semi-serious and partially accurate, for a change: out of that list, I'd guess Oprah and Gates are rich enough to want to fund research for the trip to Mars; Reeves acted in a Mars-related film; Bowie sang "Life on Mars"; Leonardo either designed something Mars-related or has something on Mars called after him; and Michael Collins would like to join the first mission, I'd guess.

:) I love how your brain works.

Nothing quite so complicated nor extra-terrestrial .

Out of sheer curiosity, I looked up all of those names and Mars. I appreciate that's not what you were looking for, Srameen, but I was curious to see if I was completely off my rocker - amazingly enough, I wasn't all that wrong! I know, I'm shocked, too.

    1. During a big event, Oprah walked out onto the stage while dancing to Bruno Mars' hit song "Treasure".

    2. In 2013, Bill Gates questioned the worth of space exploration for improving humanity. Despite having plenty of money to fund the mission, and despite many people wishing he would, he said he has "no deep fascination about going to Mars".

    3. David Bowie DEFINITELY sang "Life on Mars".

    4. Keanu Reeves DEFINITELY DID NOT star in a film about Mars. However, Brian Muirhead and Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens wrote "Going to Mars: The Stories of the People Behind NASA's Mars Missions Past, Present, and Future". (scraping the barrel, I know, I know...)

    5. Michael Collins wrote Mission to Mars (1990), a non-fiction book on human spaceflight to Mars.

    and

    6. Da Vinci is an impact crater in the Oxia Palus Quadrangle of Mars, located at 1.4°N latitude and 39.4°W longitude. It measures 100.2 kilometers in diameter and was named after Leonardo Da Vinci.
Leonardo wrote Codex on the Flight of birds, which features one of his drawing for something that looks a lot like a flying saucer. A digital copy of both his portrait and his Codex are to be sent to Mars.

    There! Interesting, isn't it? :)

With your devious mind, I'm glad you don't set too many questions. ;)

I don't know if it fits all but some of them have Manx ancestry.

Have they all performed in the NFL half time show?

Nope. Fletcher Christian did perform in a half time show (not the NFL) and was lucky not to bring the curtain down on himself!

I don't know if it fits all but some of them have Manx ancestry.

I'll take that. All of them are of Manx descent.
