What list does the above start off?

no idea, but to me it looks like the list of initial cosmonauts home nations (oh gawd I hope I am wrong as I do not have a question yet)

I may just give the answer to that as it's probably a bit of an annoying question where the answer might depend on where you ask, but what I was looking for was alcohol consumption per capita.

Where does Ireland rank on that list as a matter of interest?

Maybe you could post the link?

    Thank you in advance.

"Consumption"? The list is a bit skewed, showing Andorra at no. 7. Every red-nosed Frenchman and Spaniard for miles around regularly visits Andorra to fill his car-boot with tax-free alcohol. Maybe it works better for bigger countries.

Ah here. You're all a bit slow here. I wouldn't mind but summer is over.

Angoroj or "Agonies" (1964) was the first feature film produced entirely in which language?

Is it got to do with leper colonies or people in exile in general?

EDIT: Read the question wrong. Sorry

    Quarantine?

    Quarantine?

Quarantine it is. The origin of the word is “quaranto” which is Italian for 40. This was the number of nights the Venetians made ships remain in harbour before disembarking during the time of the Black Death, to ensure they were disease free.

    You’re up, Autumn Harsh Cloud.

Ok, very easy one: what are false friends?

Words or phrases in one language which appear to mean something in another language but mean something totally different.

They can get you into big trouble e.g.

    Embarazada in Spanish means not embarrassed but pregnant;

Publichny Dom in Russian means not a pub ("public house") but a brothel.

    2&4

    1 Is Goldie the eagle

Yes. Goldie the golden eagle escaped from London Zoo twice in 1965, on the first occasion almost causing a diplomatic incident by devouring while free, a duck in the garden of the American ambassador to Britain.

    2. A gilded sculpture of an angel sits high up on the main spire of Cork's Saint Fin Barre's Cathedral, known to all Corkonians other than alumni of its many posh schools as "the Goldie Angel."
    3. Goldie Hawn started in this.
    She did indeed.

    4. Born Clifford Joseph Price in 1965, musician, DJ, visual artist and actor better known as Goldie.
