Sure Ben has nothing to do with that ? He was just wearing his favourite hi-viz when out walking in the countryside on that famous day

Meanwhile the 1871 Lunacy Act is getting a mention on various platforms.

Unfortunately not in relation to the relevant folk!

"Mr Emms, from Ebbw Vale in Wales, is a self-professed 'freeman on the land', which means he believes laws do not apply to him."

    Sums it up nicely.

So the Lord Byron finally reappeared yesterday and is admitting up front that he has lost his case. Not a whiff about why he lost bar it it being mainly down to all the bias judges and it being a lynch mob and so and and so forth. Pretty much the same reasons why his ilk have lost all of their cases in the last 10 years. It's kind of odd this time round as there is a lack of his usual idiotic bravado.

Flanked by two security guards, Mr Emms walked out of the court, but then argued with staff for 15 minutes, before leaving because his car park ticket was about to expire.

    :D

Could it possibly be due to being in unsustainable debt?

Surprised he felt compelled to buy a ticket in the first place, surely he believed there was no requirement to buy one or perhaps he thought it was some sort of charitable donation which produced a receipt which he accidentally left on his dash.

I suppose the point is that there are consequences if your parking is expired. If you don't pay a mortgage for a decade, not so much.

Absolutely spot on. But not for much longer.

The so called Advocates are becoming redundant.

Their arguments sounding more ridiculous by the minute.

Oh there was bravado alright. Headed out for Sushi the next day. Not a care in the world.

We know how this ends...barricading themselves into the house of course and causing a scene

Meanwhile another deluded follower purged his contempt today.

    “Persons unknown”

Didn’t realise a court could issue an order against persons unknown.

You’d wonder who’s behind this? Certain PBP-AAA-Solidarity related TDs, no doubt.

Injuctions are frequently granted against persons unknown - the ones preventing interference with water meter installers as were required in some areas had to be due to the rotating group of protestors.

We’ve near full-employment now. Will they all go back to their old careers? No excuses now not to enter some arrangements with their lenders....

No doubt some may have to find a way to conceal deals they have made to save their own properties.

The faithful followers are the ones to be pitied.

The Law Society need to make a stand.

    As do Revenue.

Seems to be no law regulating ''fools gold''

His Case is online now. For years the story was that it was all about helping people who want to pay but cant afford the full payment but going by his own case he defaulted after only a few month and by the size of the arrears looks like not much paid since. also he had a solicitor and barrister.
"3. Even before they had secured representation however, the defendants had not put in dispute the key facts giving rise to these proceedings. Those are that in June, 2008 they accepted a loan from GE Capital Woodchester Home Loans Ltd (“GE”). The loan was in the sum of €350,000.00 and was drawn down on 16th July, 2008. They completed a mortgage and charge in favour of GE on 18th July, 2008, which was registered in the Land Registry on 29th July, 2008. They started to fall into arrears with repayment of their loan very soon afterwards. The first default of repayment occurred in or around 16th November, 2008. As of 29th June, 2017, there were arrears of mortgage repayments due by the defendants in the sum €326,749.22, and the total sum outstanding in respect of their loan was €599,698.37."
