Actually - funny you mentioned it - wouldn't have thought I'd have enjoyed it but watched first two episodes of Last Chance U last night. Really good!

It's on ITV2 as far as I know.

Watched the first few episodes and while I liked it, it didn't particular have me LOL'ing enough to come back for more..

As others have said, like a lot of sitcoms it takes a while to warm up and the characters to find their voice; it wouldn't have as many LOL moments compared to some of my favourites, but has a resting consistency for causing chuckles at the very least :D

edit: uh, but I realise this isn't on Netflix, so it's a bit academic :) Moving on!

You really get sucked into the individuals stories and then you start rooting for the team!

I was looking for Superstore but couldn't find it on Netflix. Came across another show called 'Fried' and watched 1 episode. British comedy about a group of people working in a fried chicken shop. I enjoyed it and got a few laughs, will watch more.

Check out QB1 next, I burned through that in a couple of days after S3 of Last Chance U

Much better than season 3 of LCU

    Without spoiling it
It follows 3 high school QBs from different states

One comes across very well from start to finish
The Texan guy seemed like an ass at the start but I have to say I really warmed to him. He is basically an overgrown hyperactive child
    The other guy ........

I liked Jake. Seemed like a confident but grounded and polite guy
Tayvon was ok. Had a bit too high an opinion of himself despite him not being amazing but thought his heart was in the right place
Tate, on the other hand, was just a d1ck

And shít loads of shít in general.

I've never being closer to cancelling my sub. Their movies section resembles the aisle of Chartbusters you used to only look at for a laugh and they haven't added a gripping series since Manhunt: Unabomber last year.

    Not good enough!

Anyone else disappointed with the lack of Irish films and TV shows on Netflix,is there any Netflix originals produced in Ireland?,all the Nordic countries have lots of shows and same for Korean/Japan/Thailand and even Filipino ones but none for Ireland and its been here for about 5 years now.

It would be great to the likes of The Snapper/The Van/The commitments/War of the buttons/The field/Into the west or TV shows like The Family or even reeling in the years on Netflix,The young offenders and cardboard gangsters seem to be the only ones on it..

There used to be more, a lot have expired due to lack of demand I'm guessing.

Here's everything (that's properly tagged at least):

Watched the family on you tube a few months ago, enjoyed it, it’s long enough since it was out that I’d forgotten any of the actual story lines.

So I'm reading, but Futurama and Simpsons were pretty poor at the start too so remain hopefully it's another late-bloomer.

Think most US sitcoms start badly anyway, it's rare enough they hit the ground running: Parks & Recreation, arguably one of the best sitcoms in the last 10 years, was borderline unwatchable in its first (short) season.

Jake Fromm killed it at college football last year. Got his chance after an injury and never looked back.

Tate looks an unbelievable athlete at High school level but probably a bit small.

The amount of films Woody Harrelson churns out is insane.

Did you see the one he directed live all in one take while also playing the lead? Lost in London. I started watching it one night but I got too tired. Seriously though, it was some achievement for a first time director.

From what I've read, Tate is now backup QB for the upcoming season. So if QB1 gets injured at all he'll be in.

Took up a Now TV trial over Christmas and saw Kubo and the two strings.
Excellent movie. The sort of thing you'd like if you saw Avatar: The Legend of Aang, the last Airbender or The Legend of Korra.
    Regardless of your age.

    This too shall pass.

^ Can understand Michelle Wolf but I liked Joel McHale... that lad cannot catch a break - he's becoming the new Nathan Fillion!

20th Century Women is a joy. It’s usually the sort of film I’d bounce off, what with its jukebox soundtrack (albeit an unusually impactful one) and somewhat flavourless direction at times. But the characters are really rich and the cast so obscenely talented that it became a far more captivating film than I was expecting. I remember being a tad disappointed it could lost in an Oscar rush when it was out in the cinema, so will hopefully find more of an audience on Netflix.

Also, Happy End is worth a gander if you want to be aggressively trolled by Michael Haneke :)

Loved The Soup but I thought the Joel McHale show was pretty rough.

Paul Feig was absolutely horrible on it.
