Accents that make you melt

When you think about the nicest accents in the world, American is definitely not the first that comes to mind for most people. But there is just something about a southern US accent that makes me go weak. I heard this short snippet on the news this evening (correct me if it's not a southern US accent):

German for me. It's one of those languages that people tend to make fun of for the way it sounds, but I doubt many have really listened to it.

Geographically, London and other certain British accents. Also, literally anything with thick, non-stop vocal fry. I dated a woman from California a few years ago and literally every word she spoke, regardless of the subject, came out with a sort of scratchy purr (think Britney Spears) and made it almost impossible to sit still

Sounds like she is from d4.

LOL - That's not a southern US accent. It's a pretty generic American accent. Probably somewhere around the east coast maybe. My GF is from West Virginia.

It sounds like a true American accent but very subtle like from Maine or something. The girl sounds like she was born in America but lived in Ireland since she was 10 or something.
