Personally think Zouma is on par with Bailly and above the rest, that’s just my opinion though, isn’t he a bit injury prone though?

Maguire is better than all our defenders apart from bailly. Would be an instant upgrade to defence just costing a lot of money if signed

I think he had one bad injury, and hasn't been as good since.

Could be Jose feels he could reignite him? Use him for the year and then bring Toby in next summer?

With United I personally think it’s this summer or never for Toby, don’t think the club themselves will agree to bring him in next summer even at a reduced cost

Paris United says we have asked about Kurzawa and Rabiot

Would Chelsea give us Zouma he was a fantastic prospect but I haven't seen him much recently.

He was part of a team that were awful at the back last year but that may not be reflective of his performance

Zouma was one of Stokes better players last year apparently, had a quick look on WhoScored and he was rated something like 7.10 for the year but they still got relegated.

I dont think he'll end up at Utd though, hes meant to be off to Everton or a left field suggestion was he was joining Lyon as a sweetener for trying to get Fekir over the line, theres not much concrete in that Fekir/Zouma + cash deal though.

Craig Norwood on Red Mancunian Podcast - Woodward’s has JMs list since April . No one really knows what’s happening at the club including Jose . Levy refusing to budge on Toby’s price

I saw on r/soccer that Fekir isn't keen on Chelsea as he wants CL.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Liverpool back in for him in January as well but I'm not to sure about him as I hadn't seen a whole lot of him.

Edit: sorry thought I was in the Transfer Thread.

I'd rather we signed no one than any of the centre backs we are being linked with.

His tone and body language in addition to WHAT he has just said indicates nothing more doing. I’d expeact Maguire or Boateng however going on press reports.

Pereira sure to start then you'd think.

No signings he says on the information he has which leaves the door open a crack but not confident.

No miracles in relation to players available for Leicester.
"The information I have is no," Mourinho replied when he was asked if United would make an addition. "I'm not confident, I'm not confident and the market closes today so is time at least for me to stop thinking about the market because the market will be closed.

"So I will have to focus on the players I have and in relation to this first couple of matches, maybe four matches because after Burnley there is national team and a couple of weeks to recover people and prepare people better, is to focus on players available so I'm not thinking about that list I give you, I focus on what we have."

Love to know exactly what happened this summer, or even in the last week or so when he has gone from confident of one and no drama if not the second but wanted a second to no confidence in signing anybody.

"Comment: Jose Mourinho tested the waters with Anthony Martial - and now he knows where he stands at Man United.
United CEO Ed Woodward and the club's owners are huge admirers of the striker left out of the France World Cup squad this summer and believe he has the potential to be one of the world's best players, but Mourinho only wants players willing to go to war for him and he has long since concluded Martial is not cut out to do that."

The 6 unavailable players he named were Romero, Valencia, Rojo, Dalot, Herrera, Matic

So I wonder how much pressure he is going to put on the playersbthat just returned to step up.

Could see a Pereira, Pogba, Fred midfield

Id be actually happy if we stuck to our guns on toby. If levy wont budge a cent on him then leave him be

    Well that was expected.

Herrera if I’m not mistaken got a bad knock to the ankle in the Bayern game by Thiago, went straight down the tunnel when he came off

Given the players missing in midfield (how depressing is that before a ball is kicked for the season!) I'd imagine he will start and going by the comments from Jose it will be plenty of the guys who played the pre season games, a midfield of Pereira Fred and one other depending on Pogba.

Sanchez, Mata and probably Rashford to get the start with Lukaku.
