I thought a player was done by the age of 29? Vidal is 31?

Would it not make more sense to judge a player on more than 5 or 6 games with a team he plays with a handful of times a year? His price tag is based on his performances over a much longer period of time than that.

What would the outcome be if Barcelona applied that (absolutely logical) criteria to valuing Pogba? Ignore the few good games he played for France in the WC as he only plays a handful of games a year with them and judge him on his performances for Utd since he (re) signed?

Same outcome as united offering a straight swap, Jones for Messi.

Their offer still would have been derisory. Are you on a wind up here or what's the story?

Sanchez was speaking pretty positively in that interview. Wants to win every trophy on offer etc, feels he will be a totally different proposition himself now he knows the training the methods the teammates etc

I think he will be a different player for united this season. Be like a new signing....

There really is a lot to be excited about this season. People getting hung up on transfers, I’d be happy enough if we just had a happy squad with the existing team.

[Simon Stone] Was told earlier today that @ManUtd highly unlikely to get Jerome Boateng but since been told player still keen if he feels Utd really want him. Jose thinks it can be done. Were talking loan. Bayern wanted straight sale.

Absolutely not, thought it might help explain their offer.

I'd imagine he won't be moving until the end of August alright.

Cheers. Come 'ere, I had to click into your profile to see that. Is that something I should see without having to do that? I'm talking about desktop, not mobile.

Hehe, just a harmless observation FredRed, but were you not previously laughing at those who bought into the exact type of links you've posted yourself in the last hour? :pac:

Yeah, today is testing for all of us.

I think you can turn viewing them on and off in your settings on desktop, they don’t show at all on mobile

So you're on a windup. At least admit it mate.

Touche, although typically if BBC report on it it's fairly accurate

Were they all BBC though...even the one with that chauffeur driving The Ghost of Christmas Future into Carrington? :pac:

All joking aside though, I believe that last link you posted to be true, that Pogba isn't going anywhere.

It's simply too soon for him to jump ship. If there are problems with the manager, then give it one more season to 1) try to work it out, or 2) See if a new manager comes in next Summer.

Nah the one earlier was a bit of craic. Was trying to lighten the mood in all honesty
