If we don't it won't be the pc media's fault.

It's been a while since we had a classic religion Liveline. Great comeback from a month of terrible shows.

Phillip is really really simpering today. This topic has his PC dial set to 11.
His low nasal whiny tone is offensively creepy.

I'm so thankful to Father Ted, it really just hammered it home how it all is a load of nonsense.
Listening to this garbage today just reminded me of this great show.

It really really annoys me that RTE will beat the Church up and down for their opinions on gays and women in the Church. They have a mosque only a few kilometres up the road that teaches that being gay is a sin and that treats women as second class citizens, yet we never have a liveline about that?

I'm pretty sure that the protestant church considers homosexual acts to be a sin, could be wrong though.
    Which "protestant church"?

I'm not up on the latest CoI/Anglican Communion dancing on the head of a pin on this, but they're clearly less "anti-" than the RCC. Hence PBH's repeated question about the "objectively disordered" stuff.

Bit more Fundamentalist Catholicism, and a bit more Islamophobia, clearly that's what'd do the country a power of good.

It's called self-preservation.........nobody in RTE wants a fatwah against them!

What did they try to wash down your throat?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,809 ✭✭✭Hector Savage

Yeah, I'm bloody sick of all the gay people I know ramming all their sexual adventurers down my throat ... jesus h christ !!!!
    These people are obsessed !!

It's almost like the whole gay-church relationship is a grey area........not the black and white world that PBH lives in.

Good thing the law of the land set the rules.

The whole 'forcing it down the throat' schtick is a bit of a misnomer, Betty.

Wow. Sometimes you hear a religious person speak and the absolute madness they come out with is just incredible.

Greek Orthodox is the Trve Chvrch.

    And the Palmarians.

Bit of balance on asking the same questions of all religions. Islam is certainly to the right of the Church, but you never hear a critical word about Islam in the Irish media.
