Bizarre posting..why would they think that they (Hayes) would feel the need to have to justify their decisions to anyone.....it's Hayes decisions, he's in charge and he answers to no-one....NO-ONE....;)

Which post are you looking at? The one I'm looking at has 28 or more. Think it's further down the page from the one you're looking at. It has the headline "3.1 MILLION of you continue to Choose Radio in Ireland! Thank you for listening"

I can't post the link, but there is a post on the Facebook page thanking their 144,000 listeners for choosing Nova.

I should point out that they are now UP to 144,000 listeners, "showing that Nova sizzles when it comes to the competitive Dublin radio market."

He says on his own fb page that the breakfast show is up 2000 listeners to 32000!!!!!!

Off the record listen back not working again - Kieran McGuinness show is in place of PJ.

Strangely enough I listened last Sunday and previous Sunday and Kieran McGuinness has finished at 11 and then Lisa Gernon has taken over till one, I just do not know why they let Pat go on FM for the 2 x hours

Shame I cannot even get OTR on playback at this stage,

And the Classic Rock stream isn't working properly either. This morning/afternoon there was lots of the morning muppets coming through and now hearing Greg talking about Cat Stevens while The Doors are playing.

Someone working there hasn't a bloody clue!

Ah now it's nothing like TX...Modest Mouse, The Avalanches, Last Shadow Puppets etc on TX.
Nova plays George Ezra and Bastille...they're moving closer to the likes of Today FM etc.

It was Hayes way of getting rid of Pat..without getting rid of Pat..don't be surprised if they just don't bother fixing the issues....hoping Pat will leave .....stick in there Pat....it's Hayes who's days are numbered....;)

To be fair a poster here compared Nova to TXFM. Think of the bands played on TXFM and think of the likes of Claire Beck, Cathal Funge, Donal Dineen and Joe Donnelly. Nothing remotely close to the same types of music. I never heard George Ezra being played to death on TXFM. I did used to get great use out of Shazam when listening to TXFM....now I rarely bother with Nova. Wasn't too bad when Greg Gaughran was on in the morning but the Marty lad has put paid to that.

Not sure, but they're still deleting negative comments.
He said it's gone up by 2k, I answered not sure how, as anyone I've spoken to about it think it's terrible and that they hate it.................................gone !!!!
There's some serious circling of the wagons at Nova.
No negative comments allowed, certain presenters having a go at, ahem, certain posters on Facebook for having a go at Nova after having the cheek to have won prizes on said station.
I'm pretty much done with Nova at this stage, only tune in on a weekend for Pat James' show.
Daytime Nova has gone to the dogs, it's just A N Other station now, shame really as the test transmissions showed so much promise, ah well......

There was a post on their Facebook page the other day in relation to how many people are listening to radio as a medium in Ireland. I think the slogan of the post was 'Choose Radio' and it was intended as a 'thank you' post to listeners. However, the breakfast show got absolutely slated in the comments section. There wasn't one positive comment to be seen. Such was the scale of the negative comments, removing each one individually was not an option, they removed the entire post instead. Choose Radio, but don't give us feedback that we don't like.

So here's an idea Nova - Remove the Radio show causing the hassle rather than the posts of negative comments and you won't have to delete so much negativity off your facebook.

Or is that a bit too much like having to eat humble pie?
