Rochford set for fourth year at Mayo helm but changes expected in backroom team.

Heard a rumor that Horan/ Solan where to team up would love it to be true

The comments from the Chairman don't come across very well. Not really fair speculating about selectors' futures when nothing has been officially decided.

Bit silly of him alright, but selectors aren`t that difficult to replace.

Buckley would be a different story.

TBH there is absolutely nothing in that article that we did'nt know already.

Every year there's speculation around Donie Buckley although I would not surprised if he does call it a day. He's a long time on the road for us now.

Yep, I feel every year there's talk about Buckley walking. They'll be right some time yet!

Tbh I wouldn't mind a bit of a shake up in some form. Buckleys massive input to the team won't be disregarded or unlearned too quickly, if someone new came in and added something to the mix, it mightn't be the worst thing.

I think next year is the last throw of the dice for this team as we know it. Why not.

I don't think its the last throw. We need to evolve and not have this whole concept idea to teams over years. I see Connolly on about it on Hoganstand and he clearly sees that Rochford has not given youth a real chance over the last few years.

Dangerous game the chairman getting involved in the team.

yes I was very surprised that he said it out in the public domain and he would have been better laying that out in a private setting but its not as if he is the only one thinking this way.

The hoganstand article has added petrol with the heading as it sounds a lot worse from the heading against what he actually said.

The county board should have no public utterances at all when it comes to these sort of matters. Anything to be said should be done in a formal setting.

Lads, do the tickets for the NY games sell out? Few of us thinking of heading over to it. Dont want to book anything without tickets!

There are no tickets for the NY games, you just pay on the gate - as far as I remember anyway...

Not one bit surprised, big ego on the guy. He should shut his mouth regarding team selection and leave it to the management.

Not a chance it's that surely?

    Where did you see that?

Simple google search indicates as expected May 2019.

Ladies are on TG4 at 13.00 against Dublin.

Big big ask but there seems to be a great solidarity in the squad if the Cavan game is anything to go by.
