We drew our last championship match in Croker, we then won the replay in thurles.

The poster he was replying to was from Roscommon
Either way they were discussing football not hurling

It shows a ceratin lack of maturity, and I dare say insecurity, from the posters from our negibouring counties that they feel the need to come on here and ask retorical questions about Mayo's participation in this years championship.

Normally wouldn't shout for Mayo but I actually hope they win today, and wth that, smashing goal from Grace Kelly just now.

I'm not great at the old Irish but these commentators on the TG4 YouTube channel sound like Mayo "homers"

Mayo leading by a point 1-07 to 2-03, 4 mins injury time to be played

2 great points after that. We have had the lion's share of the ball, in control and a good display all around. Those 2 goals were sucker punches though.

Full back line look a little exposed on the rare occasion Derry got it in. Callum Brown is some player for them.

It's a pity that Mayo greats like Cora and the Mort careers end in such bitterness after all players like them contribute to the green and red over the years.

Only themselves to blame for acting like kids/clowns. At the end of the day you are better off without them as they are only self serving players. Its a team game at the end of the day.

Interesting statement from Leahy and fair play to him for not going into detail and just laying out who has left.

It's a very strong breeze assisting Derry in the second half.

    Traffic absolutely brutal,missed Ryan O Donoghue's goal.

    6 minutes ????????

Don't know how a ref can add 4 & 6 mins extra time in a free flowing 60 min match.

Mighty grit and bounce with no lack of talent either to this U20 side. Big boost to the county. We need to have wins like this at underage. Mighty win :)

Great win! Derry had plenty of chances in the last ten minutes but we done enough and the last two points were top class. I was full sure the penalty miss would come back to haunt us but thankfully it didn't. Some great performances out there and a final to look forward to now.

Good win for the Ladies after a turbulent week. Statement from Leahy here too.

If you want to be positive, it was an improvement on their last visit...

If Rochford does go, I really do hope that people remember that it's McStay & McHale that are sending a team out like that.

He wasn't having a great game up until that miss either. He did manage one or two breaks though and an incredible catch in the first half.

Was very impressed with certain aspects of that team. The tackling and pressure in the middle third was immense. If I was Kildare I would be looking to get the ball in quick to the FF line, Derry got lots of joy today from it and were finding scores much easier. For all the dominance we had, they shouldn't have been in with a shot.

When that should be and I hope it’s soon. There’s no chance of Mcstay or McHale getting a look in after the way things turned out before.
No harm by the looks of things today

The Rossies parked the bus today, but unfortunately they forgot to get off it.

By the sounds of it Jimmy Hyland is going to take some watching.Have'nt had an opportunity to watch back the Kildare Kerry game.

Never a mean achievement to beat the kingdom especially post 4 minor titles in a row.

Sunday August 5th 2018 we head to Croker presumably as a warm up to a likely dead rubber in the super 8s Dublin v Roscommon.

It should be easy enough to get tickets.Pity the season ticket is worthless for purchasing same.

Much to be positive about Mayo football with the talent on display today. That Callum Brown is some player when he gains possession.
