    So much fúcking nonsense.

A women's PPV show will be fine, but it's more pointless pandering. it's fúcking 2018. women take part in sports and are really fúcking good at it. you don't need to mollycoddle them with a PPV all of their own. it's weird. just have them main event regular PPVs if they're good. their own PPV just hammers home that they're 'different'.

Does Katie Taylor need a women's PPV?
    Did Ronda Rousey in UFC?

also, and I know this is stupid to be annoyed by, but HHH and Steph's attempt to be babyfaces is just insulting. i know they would argue that in that specific instance they're not 'in character', but it's completely jarring to have HHH say how proud he is of the talent, and how he has a tear in his eye. fúck off.

the Bayley/Sasha thing is stupid. So they're lovers in waiting now, is it?

The B Team win again, but then they had to get beaten up afterwards didn't they? So nobody really won. Ugh.

Roman wins fúcking LOL. they will never learn. also, what was the point in Lashley winning at a PPV if the only match that ended up mattering was the one on Raw? they got the whole thing fúcking arseways as usual.

Roman is going to get shát on in Brooklyn. they must know it, surely.

Christ Roman vs Brock again and please Christ be the last time

Roman has to win but I'm thinking he won't and Brock will lose the next night on Raw and leave for a while

So what now for Lashley ??? Will he talk himself into the title match at Summerslam

We'll see Trish, Lita etc too. Better than the mens at the moment. Id imagine they may use it to start the WM build for Ronda vs Charlotte. Which we know Ronda is going to lose but ho hum.

Fairly bad timing with announcing the women's event as Sasha, Asuka, Bayley & Charlotte are all at low points in their career. 2 women's champions at present are very average in ring too, ok Carmella is well below the company average now. Hopefully they don't stretch it to 4 hours as there just isn't enough talent for it unless they pad it out with smoke and mirrors.

A reminder as well that last weeks show started with five men coming out discussing how badly they wanted a title shot, and one man coming out saying he didn't care about the title. And the one guy who didn't want the title shot....won it.

The story telling is utterly farcical.

If you think Ronda's gonna lose to Charlotte at Wrestlemania 35 next year in a Championship match (assuming Charlotte wins it back at some point), I've some magic beans you may be interested in buying :pac:

If Ronda is done after WM next year shes not going over the top female star on the way out.

It's all if's at this point really, only way I could see her gone for a while is if she announced she was expecting a child.

So are Steph and Trips face or heel now ???

Or do they go full on business mode bar Mania season ??

Anyway good for the women and I'd say they will give it there all at the ppv. I wonder will it eventually lead to an all women's roster and weekly show ??

They've enough problems with story lines and using the roster they have at their disposal correctly, I can't see where another show would fit.

and this is the crux for me.

people tell me to stop moaning and stop watching, but the reality is that a lot of the wrestling is actually decent. and i like wrestling. and for better or worse, I am invested in WWE.

some simple tweaks to the storytelling (i.e. make some fúcking sense and stop changing your minds a thousand times) and it would actually be an excellent show.

    but when you ask me to park my brain at the door by (just on this show);
having Hunter almost cry in the ring
having Steph (chief villain on the show) be a cheerleader in getting a a women's PPV over
making out that you're somehow ahead of the curve in giving a women a chance
having Roman in a title match he wasn't arsed being in to start with
having Lashley beat him meaninglessly to try and get Roman sympathy before ultimately giving Roman the title shot

    it gets tricky.

i want the feuds, the wrestling, the storylines to actually matter somewhat. and the reality is, most of what they put out doesn't matter. so that's why it's frustrating, and why it can infuriate me.

When is the Demon Finn coming back, think the last time he came as the demon when he bet Rollins for the title. no sign of the demon since.

Guess it wasn't as bad as Coach later on to Cole/Graves when talking about Total Divas
"even though you guys don't watch it"

Way to promote the show there coach

Coach's nonsense entertains me more than that advanced WWE android Michael Cole and Graves can be a bit tryhard sometimes.

Coach's nonsense not a patch on Booker T, if you are going to have one crazy guy on the panel it should be over the top.

Amazing they would re-book at a match that headlined WM with thousands chanting "this is awful".

    And this time, IN BROOKLYN!

I mean, if you thought you'd see Takeovers before.....

So didn't watch raw live but I watched the highlights.

So I've several questions that may have been asked already.

How is having a women's only PPV going to help the women be seen as the guys equals ? The women have already main evented nxt takeovers and wwe ppvs already including the royal rumble. I don't think this helps.

Also why are bayley and Sasha all friends again ? Didn't bayley attack Sasha a few weeks ago and turn heel ? So it's all forgotten now and nothing to see here.

I Roman reigns is getting another title shot. I mean look Vince has tried to build the wall but it's not able to stand up so knock the wall down and build it somewhere else. It's done and Roman will never get over the way they are going.

What are they expecting here? They've seen how hostile it can get and bar a one minute match like Lesnar/Goldberg, they have absolutely nothing new they can do with another Reigns/Lesnar match to keep fans' attention.

It's weird, this is the match I'm most excited for now at Summerslam purely to see how much it will get shat on.

They know whats coming, but they don't care.

Brock vs Reigns for the title absolutely will go on last. But that means the crowd will not just be anti-Reigns, they are going to be wrecked from being there for, what, 6 hours?

At a guess, they are going to book it knowing the crowd will **** all over the match, and then have Brawn cash in? Brawn "saving" them like that would garner a massive babyface reaction....

That just proves it once and for all. Vince is not out of touch, he’s an absolute genius.

The cash-in will roared to the heavens purely because of the alternative but eh, I'm cold on Braun these days.

Too much WWE jargon and t-shirt baiting with "Monster in the Bank" and "Get these hands!" have killed his aura a bit. Also, a giant dangerous colossus like him starting his promo with "Fair play to the girls" is a bit dumb.

I was hoping we wouldn't get the awful reactions we got from the Rumble announcement. That's what we got.
Best thing about that announcement was randomly seeing Nikki Cross there. I like that I don't know if that was a happy smile on her face the whole time or if she was just staying in character.
And Kurt didn't see Steph trying to shake his hand.

The Balor/Corbin thing shows they must have had a lot of story planned for the Bryan/Cass feud.

Didn't take long to show Hogan again. With the random WM3 bit.

As Ric was saying Steph was face at the start to make the announcement only to turn heel again when making the match between Owens and Braun, which is just stupid.

Think Mickie just came from SDCC and forgot to change her costume.

Who says they want Reigns to be the next Cena. It's not like he's representing WWE at awards shows... oh wait.

"For a smart guy he sure is good at stupid". Think they had to mute their mikes after that due to busting out laughing.
Dana was dressed for a match at the announcement but changed to her Titus Worldwide clothes later.

As soon as Drew and Dolph mentioned Seth in their promo, I knew the match would become a tag match.

As for Woman Weigns, I was going to use the name Ramona Reigns when making that joke.

And Elias was great. Nice running gag throughout.

I would be flabbergasted if this isn't what happens.

Vince may be stubborn and out of touch, but i don't think he's a complete idiot.

Or Braun will cash in at the start of the match.
