I just found this article which confirms it https://www.independent.ie/entertainment/music/music-news/fr-ray-kelly-lands-gig-as-a-cruise-ship-entertainer-with-daniel-odonnell-37037737.html

The big-voiced clergyman is one of 30 Irish acts who have been booked by US-based Gertrude Byrne Promotions for a week-long cruise through Alaska's iceberg fields.

The "All Star Irish Charter Cruise" includes an impressive line-up of performers including headline act Daniel O'Donnell.

WOW! Poor Daniel O'Donnell wouldn't even get backing from his fellow cruiser so to speak.

Not got a good feeling about this at all. I’m a person of often lapsed faith, but I know on a cruise ship a suitably educated and informed lay person can step in as chaplain should a death occur, and guide the bereaved in their prayer. There was such on board an Antarctica voyage I was on where somebody took very seriously ill. On the other hand here it seems this man wants yet another opportunity to sing, not the hymns at his Mass, but he seems seriously addicted to public adulation. He’s human, of course.

As you say, he's only human but I do agree that he does seem quite vain and has a vibe of someone desperately seeking attention. I may sound cynical, but he seems to view his priesthood as a vehicle to being a unique singer/performer at this stage, rather than just being a priest who can sing. I don't know if that makes any sense, but I just think that he's fixated with attention and fame after his Britain's Got Talent progression and viral video. I can't remember but I think he quoted the views that his online videos have gotten which reeked of arrogance. Self-praise is no praise.

62 MILLION VIEWS was mentioned quite a few times on today's show. And not only by Joe.

Yeah, you could tell Joe was reading out from a pre-prepared blurb. He was in such a frenzy he made a bo##ix of the amount of hits one of the videos got. He said 20 MILLION instead of 8 MILLION.

"62 MILLION" and "8 MILLION" were thrown about so often I thought they were references to Claddagh Green's Accumulated Profits or Fateen's Fees for dis year.

From memory Fateen said "60million" and he was VERY QUICKLY CORRECTED by Fadder Modesty who told him it was "62 million".

There's bound to be a software to extract the sound and convert to MP3. Maybe Handbrake. I'll have a look in mine and see is the option available.

A quick google came up with this.

    https://ccm.net/faq/1266-extract-audio-from-any-video-using-vlc

Did you record it on Thumb drive from the TV or is it on a satellite box? I know any recordings from my TV are a nightmare to do anything with on a PC afterwards.

normally butters sometimes he doubles down...
joe sees himself as a gravitas presenter aka paxman... in reality once a debate gets going he loses all control and just barks like a bloodhound in parts. the result is like a bag of ferrets let lose while slipping on marbles...

“Jonathan Paxman” as Fateen duz call him and dat.

Over 350 comments (and counting) from de airing of de promo to dis morning - has to be up dare in terms of comment count from wan show and dat. Contrast dat wit FunnyFryday and less dan 20 comments somedays, 15 or so of which are of the “oh no, I forgot it was FunnyFryday, I’m out” variety.
