United won't win the league with that squad but a bit of passion and energy from the players would go along way to making up for it.

Every preseason I see the same post and I write the same post.

We watch midweek games at 1:30 AM without missing a single game, this game is 2:30 AM for us and we will still watch the game.

Could you honestly see City, Chelsea or Liverpool starting the season with Smalling and Jones as first choice CBs?

I dread to think what will happen if De Gea's form dips.

If we had no interest in signing him before the World Cup, we shouldn't have any interest signing him now.

For ****s sake, he wins a few headers on set pieces and now we're linked with him. I'll be furious if he's our big defensive signing - I'd rather go with what we have.

Maguire isn't really needed, club should be going all out for either Sandro or Alderweireld.
