Actually we have changed a lot already. I remember when I first started working and half the staff didn't show up on a Monday because they were too hungover. That's not the case now. Young lads nowadays are more interested in drinking protein shakes than pints of lager.

I was on the Tipperary pint drinking team back in '11.

Got squzeed out in the semis by KK Smithwicks ale men. Whole thing was rigged imo. We were playing away.

It came down to a shot shootout and one of our boys puked all over his shirt.

How’s your arsehole as well? I find drinking that much leads to very acidic bowel movements that leave the hoop red and raw.

I bought the book that featured Paddy Losty. It's a really great read giving some social history to this country that has essentially vanished.

Kind of sad how in thrall the country was to drink for so long. The publican ie. the local drug dealer was up there with the parish priest as the moral authority in the community.

Many many times I’ve been in work the next day after a lot more than 8 pints, 8 with work the next day would be grand.

Well that sort of what I meant, a few pints on a week night could be around 8. If it was a big midweek session could be more but normally a mid week few would be around the 6-8 pint mark.

As for the bowl, you can’t beat a Guinness s*ite I look forward to them!

Well you obviously don't have a job with a lot of responsibility. There's not a hope I would entertain an employee coming in after drinking to excess the night before work.
