since people are bitching about Micks garage I will too.

Bought a yoke off them a while back, totally useless didnt work at all, they accepted it back, no issue but I had to pay a 5er to post it back to them.

    I don't think that's fair at all.

Its says in the description that it is primer and ready to paint. A 2nd part would be painted surely?

Yes yes yes, I get it FFS. I did read the third post ...
Yeah, MicksGarage is new parts only. That's the entire mirror, the colour is grey primer so you'd have to get it painted to match your van.

I was explaining to another poster that the OP probably thought it was a secondhand part BECAUSE he wasn't asked to nominate a colour.

Wouldn’t bother using them again myself, guess it’s alright if you aren’t near a motor factor

    I have a vested interest! ;)

I bought pads from Micks Garage, they sent me the wrong ones, I still had to pay return postage even though it was their mistake, I won't be using them again, not worth the gamble when you risk wasting a day of your weekend and the cost of postage.

Seems to be their policy - costing their customers for micksgarage mistakes

I have used Micks garage a few times and have been satisfied with them.

My only gripe is that they no longer allow you to collect stuff from their premises to avoid the delivery charge (I used to work close by).

Been using micks garage for a while, one thing I have found is they dont seem to have a clue what to do or say to a customer when they send out the wrong parts, the lad there was trying to tell me it was right even when I had shown him the original part.
Cant see them lasting if they cant sort out their mistakes and admit they made a mistake, very poor customer service and Ill be using the motor factors from now on.

If it is their error they are required to cover return postage, they need to be pushed though.

I've bought wiper blades from them for a few years now, must be on my third pair at least, never had an issue with ordering and delivery. Can anyone who's done a comparison with their local motor factor say if MG is cheaper for your average retail customer for wiper blades?
