Do you remember why jose and ronaldo fell out??

Of course I do. You see, Ronaldo had just scored 168 goals in the 3 seasons Mourinho was manager and he felt that if that kept up it would not have been fair on everybody else.

    Some transfer gossip/bollix.

United to move for Shaqiri for £12 million.

Chelsea want Martial as part of a deal for Willian.

A definite no to both .

And yet the 2 of them were barely on speaking terms at the end. Strange that

    Some transfer gossip/bollix.

And for giggles, Liverpool are to keep Karius as number one after being priced out of moves for Oblak and Allison.

    Shaqiri is fat :)

A big part of me would be worried if Ronaldo came back. He'd get frustrated in our rigid system, complain, and look for a quick exit. Not to mention the hampering on playing time in which it will affect our younger players. Should be focusing our energy on tactics to bring our attackers into play and not be so isolated as it was last season. Doesn't matter if we have 3 Ronaldo's up front we'll still struggle.

May be in the minority by the looks of it but I'd be fairly delighted with Shaqiri.

Mad to think he's still only 26. Feels like he's been around forever with Basel, Munich, Milan before Stoke. He seemed to have gotten frustrated at Stoke, and for an attacking player I understand that. I don't think he is the definite solution to our RW problems but I'd be happy to bring him in as an option for the position and see if he fights to prove people wrong. Has bundles of talent and has already shown that for club and country.

I know a lot here seem to be completely off the idea of buying him, citing how they feel he's another player who doesn't put in enough effort. Personally if wingers like Walcott are going for £20 million, I don't see how we could say no to an asking price of £12million. Absolute steal and no real risk involved.

Between Dalot and Grant we have CL secured now. We dont need Ronaldo. Treble here we come!

And with Bale still undecided I don’t think we should go for him, just promote Chong now sure and we can go for the Quad!

Looking at Shaqiri at the world cup, I wish I was that fat :) he's a small build bit he seems very fit, lifestyle choices are what would throw me off him. Not a bad squad player but wouldn't settle for that I dont think

Personally, i think its a great move for Ronaldo. Juventus are a massive club, always do well in champions league.

Also probably mentioned here already but United away jerseys for last season are a cut-price on the store atm.

I know a new one is coming out but can get the home, long sleeve for €29, and short sleeved is €34.

Black away jersey is surprisingly long sleeve €54.30 and short sleeved €41.

    Andreas Pereira:
“Breaking through Man U is and remains the big dream,” Pereira explained. “After two good seasons in Spain, I know that I can always go there. Valencia wanted to keep me, but at the moment my goals are in England. I want to make it at Man U. At Valencia I have proven that I can participate at the highest level. That’s what I hope to show in Manchester now.”

“I told him that I felt ready to compete. He was happy to hear that and said I would get my chance. Now we will see how it goes in preseason. Then we are together again, but of course I hope to convince him.”

I hope he follows through. I know a lot of people sided with the José narrative of him not willing to put in a fight to earn his spot last season (I was on the other side).

To be fair to him it doesn't seem like José's comments have pushed him out the door. Many would have been annoyed by them and taken the easy option of walking away.

I know he tends to try say things to the media as a form of inspiring or challenges players (not one I'm mad for) but whether it works or not depends on the type of player you are doing it to.

I still feel he wont see much game time.

    Pogba
    Matic
    Fred
    Herrera
    Fellaini
    McTominay
    Lingard
    Mata

All ahead of him this season

    Pre-Season will be fun :pac:

Matić, De Gea, Rojo probably miss first week or two of it.

Lukaku, Rashford, Fred, Fellaini, Pogba, Young, Jones & Lindelöf probably 3 - 4 weeks of it (depending on eliminations)

Plenty of youth will be on tour then :)

Would rather see him go to Spain and play some possession football in midfield. Would let him improve so much more than battling the lower end of the Premier league.

Burnley are playing in Europe mate, finished seventh. Bit of battling and a broken nose won't do him any harm at all.
