    Something wrong with him. ………....

I gathered that was your opinion. What is the "something" that you think is "wrong" with him?

A well known side effect of cancer treatment (which David Norris has) is slurring of words...but sure keep slagging him off.

I think your tactic is throw enough muck and hope it sticks really let's be honest.

Something wrong with him. I wouldn't leave him alone with my son.

Didn't he defend a child abuser a few years ago ? and had to drop out of the presidents race because of it.

Have you ever met an older gay person? I haven't. Aids, drugs and suicide always gets them.

    Don't think so.

    https://extra.ie/2017/05/11/lifestyle/health/hiv-life-expectancy-for-young-people-near-normal

But if suicide is a significant problem, there's no doubt that the kinds of prejudice demonstrated by yourself and Doc Brown would be a significant factor causing this.

There was a genuine point at the beginning of this thread, now it's just descended into shíte. Lock her up...

Closing it sounds like fabulous idea...darling.

They on the other hand want to shut down my freedom of speech.

Well he defended his ex lover after he was accused of sexual activity with a 15 year old boy,

I think he stated he regretted that.

What about mickey Harte? Didn't he defend a rapist and didn't apologise

People make mistakes, the key thing is learning from them really.

A Danish study of mortality rates of Danes over a 29 year period showed same sex marriage decreased death rates in gay Danes.

    https://www.livescience.com/27796-same-sex-marriage-mortality-rates.html

If you're that worried about gay people's life expectancy, you should have voted for gay marriage.

Ever met a man you thougt was shady and you wouldn't leave alone with your gf, niece, sister? I have. Guy might be the nicest man in the world but give the wrong vibe and i'm suspicious.

That's how I feel about Norris. Here's the thing, when you are a parent, you don't care about being pc. You only care about protecting your child.

Correct. The timing of it with was dubious to say the least. It was dropped on him wry close to polling day.

Yes, you did. Remember when you tried to block access to a basic human right?

    Here: https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=107373241&postcount=249

And remember when you tried to link homosexuality to paedophilia, even though there is no such link?

Yep a pedo who enjoyed young boys in Nepal. Imagine a straight politician defending a poet who buggered young girls.

I said at least Norris had the decency to apologise... I was using another example of a person not even having the decency to apologise.

Didn’t Mr Norris allude to such a link in an interview in 2002? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.irishtimes.com/news/norris-paedophilia-tape-aired-1.885694%3fmode=amp

There is a link just as men are more likely to abuse kids than women.

I'm sorry if the facts are not PC.

Also gay "marriage" has only recently become a "human right" due to political pressure

20 Years ago the very concept would of been laughed at, and rightly so.

    Its called freedom of opinion.

We should have that right in a free society.

The fact that you've lasted almost a year on Boards suggests that your "diverse opinions" (top euphemism for blatant racism and homophobia, btw) have been shown a hell of a lot of tolerance. The fact that After Hours mods, who are frankly worse than useless, would sooner take action against someone calling you a racist and a homophobe is indicative of that.
