Bacon from yesterdays dinner, accompanied by beans and baked spuds with butter. And the heel from a fresh loaf of batch bread. Quick and easy comfort food

I'd curry chips and a Mighty Munch burger. Won't be able to sleep now I'm so full.

Just poked in a few extra ripe grapes, whilst de-stemming a few bunches... they will keep better in the freezer, perfect for a cool summer treat.

Salad sandwiches with lettuce, tomato, courgette and radish fresh from the garden.

Decided to make my own mushy peas so they are simmering after soaking along with a carrot or two.... Maybe eggs, maybe fish fingers... Choices!

That was the best meal in a long while. A big bowl of home cooked mushy peas, with carrot and cheese shaved atop.

Will never buy or eat tinned mushy peas again!

    Truly satisfying.

Couldn't post at lunchtime when I had this. Left overs from last night.

I made a roast pork sandwich with butter, mayo and stuffing. If I had Hunky Dorys to go with it, we could be talking award winning sandwich. Add garnish and we'd be taking pics.:D It was New York Deli stuff.:D
