    I don't watch Fair City.

    Was he Phil Mitchell's brother?

    What was his name...
    Oh yeah Jack Duckworth.

Great actor. I loved him in Emmerdale

I have zero sympathy for drug dealers.

Well I don't have all the facts but from the report he does appear to be a small time drug dealer.

Your not required to have sympathy btw.

I think the point of this story is that life in prison is not as cushy as some ppl seem to thing it is and actually more seriously what the hell is going on in them that such things can happen. This is Ireland, not Mexico.

Being in prison is not meant to be fun. I don't agree with the drug laws here and think they should be legalized but right now the laws are what they are.

And in all fairness, If you're 31 and too soft to do a stint as short as 2 years (probably not even that) then maybe selling drugs is not for you. Cuz that's not a harsh sentence especially for a young enough man.

Like,if I thought I couldn't hack 2 years I wouldn't even bother selling X for a fiver a pill, might as well rob a bank, lot more cash all at once and sure the sentence if caught is a lot more but that doesn't matter if you're just gonna top yourself if you even get 24 months.

He was convicted of dealing drugs. So, if can't do the time, don't do the crime. Zero sympathy.

Was virtually every petty criminal in Dublin a "star" in Love/Hate?

I was going to say Bertie wasn't in it but he was far from a petty criminal

I assumed it was dodgy drugs as two of them from different cells were hospitalised.
    Who knows.

I came here to pretty much say this. I don't see the correlation at all.

There probably isn't a prison in the world where drugs can't be found.

Not a great human being by all accounts. Although he was conned into doing an audition video for love island a while back which was pretty funny

It looks like he took something dodgy, sure he could have done the same in a club/boozer ffs. Prison is just a detail in this story

You know the system is ****ed when you can get drugs in prison easier than on the street!

Rumor is that they were taking counterfeit sleeping tablets. Could have been anything though.
