Daniel Doyle Love/Hate actor passes away in hospital

ONE of the two prisoners rushed to hospital from Mountjoy early on Friday morning is former 'Love/Hate' actor Daniel Doyle, and he is fighting for his life.

Earlier this year Doyle (31) was given a two-year sentence after he was caught with hundreds of ecstasy tablets.

And some ppl seem to think life in prison is too cushy?

Well I don't have all the facts but from the report he does appear to be a small time drug dealer.

I think the point of this story is that life in prison is not as cushy as some ppl seem to thing it is and actually more seriously what the hell is going on in them that such things can happen. This is Ireland, not Mexico.

Being in prison is not meant to be fun. I don't agree with the drug laws here and think they should be legalized but right now the laws are what they are.

And in all fairness, If you're 31 and too soft to do a stint as short as 2 years (probably not even that) then maybe selling drugs is not for you. Cuz that's not a harsh sentence especially for a young enough man.

Like,if I thought I couldn't hack 2 years I wouldn't even bother selling X for a fiver a pill, might as well rob a bank, lot more cash all at once and sure the sentence if caught is a lot more but that doesn't matter if you're just gonna top yourself if you even get 24 months.

It looks like he took something dodgy, sure he could have done the same in a club/boozer ffs. Prison is just a detail in this story

Apparently not related, Word id the other guys was a young lad from Wexford starting a longer sentence who tried to hang himself, that was in the paper
