Keegan probably is fit to start but I'd leave him off until the 2nd.

Good to see Hanley start. Not opposed to seeing Regan getting another chance but he might not get a game.

I'd rather see Coen getting used as a sub from here on in but he'll do a job. Diarmuid would be my choice beside SOS when he returns.

    Strong enough team overall.

    Was the bench named?

Never is, you'll have to buy a progamme!

Why does anyone pay any heed to these teams? Its a joke at this stage:rolleyes:

    Buy a pen as well.
You`ll need it to separate the facts from fiction of programme teams nowadays ;)

Don't think there will be that many changes in a game like this tbh.

    Caff will start tomorrow now
    Don’t think Regan will
    Keegan might

Hope the Rumours of fresh injuries to Harrison and Vaughan are unforunded or at least bit serious

Anyway it’s a good mix of a team

I think he will start Regan. He sorts out the left footed free taker issue. This is the perfect game to give him a chance to stake a claim on that team. If he does well, start him in the next match and you don't have to be worrying about frees from that side.

I suspect Keegan will not start and that they are probably not risking him although he admitted he was close to making the Galway match and has had a few weeks since then so it's hard to see why he is not making it.

Sincerely hoping that we annihilate Limerick this evening.

I've been living in Limerick for the guts of 20 years...married to a local and will be taking my 5 year old to his first match today.

The missus has sneakily got him a Limerick jersey already.....I'm fine with him being a Limerick hurling fan but I'm determined to raise a diehard Mayo football fan :-)

Pretty hot for this time of the day...barely any breeze.

The missus was saying there's thunder showers forecast for later in the afternoon but not sure if I trust her after the whole jersey buying fiasco :-)

I'll throw it out there and say that it'll be a rare occasion where that team actually starts. If memory serves me, I think we had zero changes in an early qualifier last year. Not sure if it was Derry or Clare.

I'd recommend the Jetland (Dunnes) car park....heading there myself...easy enough to find coming in off the motorway

    No clamping ?

Limerick has a thunderstorm warning for afternoon alright

Not aware of clamping there tbh....the Woodies car park is marshalled so that's a no go for matches.

To be honest, there's fupp all interest locally here in the game...all the focus on the hurling tomorrow. Crowd will be 80% Mayo I'd say

Doubt very much there will be any clamping. 6pm throw-in means shopping traffic will be virtually gone. Just don't park in front of anyone's driveway or on green areas and you should be ok.
Hazy and overcast in the city now but to clear in the afternoon.

The dunnes stores car park is close by the pitch, is huge, and is easy to find from what i remember.

Really could have done without Harrison and Vaughan picking up injuries
Also where the hell is Big Bird?????????
Midfield options running thin on the ground

We've used it every time we have played there, as did half the population of county mayo and I don't remember seeing any signs 're relevant parking restrictions never mind clampers.

It's a shame they fixed the under 20s game for today.I could make it but many others would not be in that position.

What is the story with the walking wounded?

Big bird doesn't appear to be getting much of a look in.

Just another thing to note for people driving up....the motorway comes to a relatively covert end at Shannon and magically transforms into dual carriageway after that.

It's worth dropping down to 100kmph as there's 2 or 3 places where the speed vans are always out.....nothing like 3 penalty points to ruin a good day out

I'm assuming it's still possible to buy tickets at the ground, right?

My local Centra here only has hurling tickets
