Oh Fook, I see another thread started in AH's focusing on Ireland's relationship with takeaway food and its turned into a healthy eating debate. May I just say that I'm now ashamed of my last 20 posts in this thread as a result. They must be looking at us here as some kind of cholesterol fest.:D

We had our first bbq this year so had a burger, chicken drumsticks, sausage in a bun, curly fries and far too much wine. Followed by a strawberry Cornetto. Now wishing I did not have an early start in the morning :(

I had my first BBQ as well. It was lovely and not cooked by me for a change :)
I had a salted caramel coffee and might have a gin before bed.

Husband made some sort of Indian style vegetable curry. He loaded it with cardamom and chillis and way more garlic than he usually uses. Packed with peas, peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, tomato, spinach and carrots.

I brought the toddler to bed and came down to it cooked. Followed by a fresh cream chocolate eclair and some galaxy chocolate. Washed down with a G&T. It was feckin brilliant.

coffee X 2... Ate well yesterday and have half a crumbled birthday cake to come.No idea what else. Coffee is enough...for now ;)

As for healthy eating; the Food Nazis mean nothing to me. Not since the Craft Fair Day when a kind man bought me a waffle thick with whipped cream, strawberries and chocolate and my seaweed selling neighbour looked at it with disgust and shouted, "FAT AND SUGAR!"

Took the joy out of it.. sniff!!!

NO ONE steals my so rare treats or my sheer delight in them... SO THERE!

    OK where is that cake!

I'm still tasting their heat along with the other flavours. Massive!
