Now I'm in need of inspiration. Nothing in the house besides the usual oil and herbs. Don't mind cooking. Want something olive oil-y and garlicky. Crunchy. Salady. Not stodgy. No meat.

I'm usually easy to please. But I'm feeling fussy today!

Oh and I had a slice of pizza for lunch. So not pizza.

    I'm puzzled

how about spaghetti al olio? just add olive oil in a frying pan, heat it up and sizzle some thinly chopped garlic in it. pour it over the spaghetti with some parmesan (or other cheese you have). simple and delicious, it's on every good italian restaurants menu.

or otherwise just a salad with garlic and olive oil??smile.png

Describe the meat fest! I couldn't even contemplate a drink after the last mixed grill I had.

I make my shopping lists from the Supervalu online site..

    https://shop.supervalu.ie/shopping/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw6J7YBRC4ARIsAJMXXsc0B_F7hbe_Hpb6jz8hcHLaKgvAuNtX8oUGmakq-kRMEDjK85WjsbQaAnPeEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

The "browse aisles" list every food there is there so you can think what to get, whether there or elsewhere.

Had a delicious salad with all the veggies, smoked cheese, fresh bread, balsamic dressing and Pringles.

Gin and wine. Ahem. You might wanna ignore any further posts tonight. Likely to be drivel.

I tend to sit down and look at the Tesco or Aldi website. Look at the specials and meal plan based on that. It saves money and encourages a good variety of food.

Have always done that but no access there at present. Supervalu is not a shop I would usually use but have been pleasantly surprised at how they have changed to keep up with the "big 4"

Kids party today and we stopped on the way to get the young man a snack. SO. One McDonald's pancake, 1/2 McDonald's hash brown and 1/3 of a McDonald's cheese toastie. A full coffee.

    A salad sandwich.

    Another coffee.
