Could not agree more. You'd need a few of them.

Have just poured a pink gin and tonic. Very easy to drink.

Tesco are doing a new range of frozen vegetable *things* for only 2euro each. I can highly recommend the buffalo cauliflower bites, they're spicy and very tasty, great with pizza. I also love the cauliflower and cheese grills, while not the healthiest, when I can get anything that resembles a vegetable into an increasingly fussy toddler I call it a win, and he loves these, they're gorgeous on a sandwich (Isn't everything? :o).

Anyway, to get to the point, I'm about to try their new peanut and avocado burger. Apparently they have a bit of spice to them. I plan on putting it into a wrap with salad. Very high in fat and more processed than I usually like to eat, so won't be a staple, but a nice easy treat and I'm looking forward to trying it.

Dunnes 6 grain yoghurt with fresh tangerine and blueberries.... Might just be the healthiest thing I've eaten in, oh, 59 years or so...

it's with so much products these days, prices are rising and rising and things get smaller and smaller...I always think to myself where this should lead: one day you buy a snickers but there's nothing in it anymore..:D

    Chinese with club orange :)

The only way you can eat Milky ways is the fun size pack and eat the whole bag :D

I bought pink gin this week as it was offer but haven't tried it yet.
I also got 24 cans of coke zero so will be living off coke for ages :)
I just saw there's a new Indian after opening up near me so there is more temptation as I love Indian food.

In fairness, Milky Ways have always been particularly small. They haven't got much smaller over the years.

I don't know but aren't they marketed towards kids as a healthy snack that won't ruin their dinner? Not saying an adult can't enjoy them though.

Their slogan was "without ruining your appetite". That volume wouldn't ruin anybody's appetite. And they're not much cheaper than a standard bar of chocolate.

It's nice! I would prefer normal gin if I'm having a few as it's sweet and I'd imagine a bit sickly if you have too much, but perfect for one or two.

The peanut and avocado burger was really lovely. One of the most satisfying meals I've had in a while. I had it on a wrap with butterhead lettuce, scallion, tomato and HEINZ mayonnaise. Delicious!

And half of a Cadbury golden crisp, cup of chai and a half packet of lentil crisps.

I'm just having one now before bed. It's unusual but I don't have the right mixer for it maybe. I don't like tonic so using sugar free
cloudy lemonade which is nicer with the regular gin. It tastes a bit like a cocktail.

Lasagne. I need to say that I do not like lasagne, and never buy lasagne, but the lovely lady at Supervalu who packs the groceries to get delivered to me, was very concerned as they were out of stock of the huge and economic cottage pie they have ( or not!) so sent me the huge and economic lasagne instead.

So it was either shove it in the freezer forever and live on bread.. or ... so I chose or... Actually it is with my bugs, tasteless.. so honour and frugality are satfisfied.. 2/3rds gone and the last 1/3 is back in the freezer.. Enough is enough. ;)

And I would not dream of saying anything to the kind lady!

Just had a mish mash lunch that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Two leftover BBQ chicken thighs with a bit of salad. 5 seeded crackers with some mature cheese. A sliced apple and a couple of squares of dark chocolate.

A sandwich, with cheese, salady things and Heinz mayo.
We have painters working here today so they had lunch with us and the toddlers day is made. Acting like one of the lads and finishing his lunch too. Hoping this fussy phase is on its way out.

Toasted cheese sandwich... Crazy thing is that before I moved I had never used the new sandwich toaster... then I was without electricity for five months... and since then I have lived on toasted cheese sandwiches..

Went out for posh dinner yesterday. I really flashed the cash. It was awesome!

The ladies had grilled chicken with some tasty salad dressing in a delightful wholemeal bun. I opted for lightly fried chicken thighs in a wonderful spicy coating. All served with a selection of fries and dips. Dessert was a medley of Ice Cream and hot chocolate muffins. All washed down with some fine Cola drinks.

    Best Supermacs EVER!:D
