Should the Irish Catholic be used as a fact checker and be advertising for a No vote?

If their researcher does it honestly, why not? If thejournal got it wrong, point out the error.

If my mother didn't carry me to birth, I as the human I am, would not be here. Different child would be born.

Which is worse being selfish or idly standing by and letting countless babies have their lives terminated?

If your mother didnt carry you to birth there would be no you to care about not being born. It is a particularly stupid argument from the No side.

I've gone through all the positives of Christianity earlier.

More correctly human beings do terrible things to each other under the name of religion, communism, fascism and all sorts of ideologies.

So the ban was just there for shts and giggles basically. It didn't actually achieve anything, it inconvienced many people and served only to highlight how out of touch the church was.

Again, what does voting no do to help solve the issue that 3k+ women face each and every year? What will voting no do to help reduce the risks of cases like Savita happening again?

Have you anything to add apart from ad homs?

    It's relevant to the debate.

We have arrived at the stage where under pressure Yes posters ask multiple questions, hoping a valiant No poster will slip up and get banned.

It ain't going to happen here :)

The best way to fight facts is with facts, but as Robert doesn't have any he just resorts to lies.

Fairly typical of the No campaign.

Which is worse, forcing women (against their will as yeno, that's what force is) to continue unwanted pregnancies just so they stay in-line with your seemingly archaic beliefs, or allowing them the choice of access to an abortion which they may or may not take, but at least the choice is there, hmm?

I'm just hoping you'll have an answer as to how you think your vote will help the situation we face as a nation. You seem ok with 3k+ women each year going abroad to have abortions.

He's ok with Irish women aborting Irish babies so long as it doesn't happen on the holy sacred soil of Ireland.
    NIMBYism at its finest.

My beliefs are not archaic. They are held by millions worldwide. Don't resort to insult.

There is nothing valiant in forcing women to continue unwanted pregnancies to align with your personal belief so they can give birth to babies you don't give a sh!te about after they're born.

Do not be disillusioned and believe you are being valiant.

It may have escaped your attention but the Yes side is and has from the start been ahead in the polls.
The scaremongering and bile from the 'valiant' No side has had a small effect on the figures, but is not enough. We expect another lie filled submission from the No side tonight.

I didn't resort to insult at all, I simply stated what is fact - your belief is commonly known by "millions" as archaic.

You failed to answer my question though, bravo.

No side are doing both as we speak.
Restricting women's healthcare to keep abortion out of Ireland without actually doing anything to stop Irish women having abortions

The polls. Only one poll counts Mr. Brady :) We may not win but we'll give it a go.

We're doing plenty like Gianna Care and the Catholic CURA.

Seem to be hearing more loser talk from the No side in recent days. Tails are down.

But Trump thought he would lose, too.

Great evening for canvassing this eve. And then in for the Prime Time debate.

Pity Maria Steen isn't on the No side. The Yes side haven't really anyone who can handle her. Certainly not skulking, butter wouldn't melt in his mouth Simon Harris.

I have seen several comments along this line, here and on twitter, albeit a bit more polite about Simon Harris.

In a strange way it makes me feel sorry for Cora Sherlock. It is like her own side have no faith in her.

Not enough according to the USI.

The Union of Students in Ireland (USI) has said it is disassociating itself from Cura, the Catholic crisis pregnancy support agency.

It says this is because of a failure to "provide 'full support' for pregnant people when it comes to abortion and abortion support."

You seemed to avoid answering my question but instead focused on what you perceived to be an insult on your beliefs, you have old-fashioned beliefs, that is not an insult, it's fact.

It is not enough. You are unwilling to give women autonomy in what is a monumentally important decision for them.

Your own church doesn't recognise the life until after 24 weeks!

And until relatviely recently regarding any baby born as not worthy of Gods love until they were baptised.
