That's a lot more than ''just a message board'' territory.

I didn't message him, I obviously knew it might not be him, but I'm sure some people too the next step and hounded his inbox.

Lucky? They sound like idiots. Now we have to consider if they had just called the Gardaí could he have been followed to her location?

    They sound like absolute morons.

Was she in the car at the time does anyone know?

    Embarrasment.

How did an unarmed traffic cop end up there? Surely they would be sending in trained armed gardai unit incase things turned ugly.

    First responder.
Probably loads of reported sightings. They can't wait for back-up for them all.

This is the part thats confusing for me. I habe read that someone callef in the sighting of the car in cherrywood - in which case it would be a first responder thing - however - other news outlets are claiming he was tracked to the business park by gardai, via his phone. In that case they should have been well backed up and prepared.

You would want to be fairly stupid to private message abuse to a dead man.

    Yes I do. Why wouldn't I ?

We have a corrupt Garda force with that corruption sanctioned and ordered from the very top down.

I find it confusing that normal tax paying, law abiding people wouldn't have an axe to grind.

A corrupt and dishonest force threatens the very core of our democracy.

I don't know what happened here last night. Maybe AGS acted appropriately, maybe they didn't.

All i'm saying is we'll never know the truth because it'll be covered up as has always been done in the past.

This seems to have ruffled a few feathers but hey ho.. Facts are facts.

Sorry, buddy. Opinions are not facts.

If it was him, what would be achieved by messaging him?!

Don't think he'll be "checking in" wherever he has ended up..

Will, there are sad f*cks that would message his widow thinking they're great for doing so somehow. Never underestimate the power of idiocy combined with easily accessible social media platforms.

'Exposing' me as well is pretty dumb considering I pretty much put that post up to highlight the stupidity and dangers of doing exactly what I did. My point was that this is a message board, I'm putting no weight into my theories, I'm just shooting the breeze and running my mind, it's a discussion forum. If I was with my friends I might say 'Oh remember those incidents in Killiney and Shank, the guy was from Ballybrack, he looks kinda early 30's, not exactly far fetched to suggest he could have been involved' I obviously haven't a clue, he probably wasn't, it's just a discussion.

I am thinking the worst and hoping for the best on this.

I was hoping she was still with him when he was located but alas no. That's not a good sign imo.
Maybe he already had the evil deed done and was pondering his own exit.

Click their username on desktop and you get a dropdown list. Then add the user to ignore list. You'll see they've posted but won't see the post.

Not perfect (especially as people will still quote posts and you'll see them) but better than nothing

I think so(No idea about Jastine, the purse doesn't sound good though). There are some fairly big drops around Cherrywood area which have been used in the past before afaik

Don't doubt the levels of stupid in the country. It's baffling how society can function to be honest.

That's what you consider the next step? To pointlessly message a dead man?
If you knew it might not be him then surely you hadn't a proper clue whether it was him?

Of course. The profile had two children in it. I didn't exactly spread this information nor did I share his profile. It was just morbid curiosity. Yes, some people might have messaged him, it happens quite a bit when someone has committed a very serious crime. People want to vent and express their outrage and one way might be to hound his inbox.

Oh I get that. I feel horrible for his family and the inevitable abuse that’s going to come their way from the cretins.

The woman is abducted at approximately 530 pm, the abduction is reported and details of the car given including a partial registration.

At 7 pm a woman is seen in distress in a car in Dalkey, this is reported and car details given.

A woman is reported missing at almost midnight and at daylight her phone is found exactly where she was abducted.

At 4 PM in the afternoon details of the full car reg are released by the Gardai, they only had partial reg from the person who saw the abduction.

The missing womans phone was found at 5 AM and a description of the car she was forced into is not released for eleven hours.

Its not criticising anyone to ask questions about this timeline.

Good god no... we've enough conspiracy/cover up merchants in here talking about AGS without bringing that into it.

I thought her purse was found with her phone at the abduction site?

Hopefully she is found alive. I hold a small bit of hope that he realised Gardai were looking for him and threw her (alive) out of the car in a remote area.

Why was it necessary to shoot a man - armed with, as it transpired, a knife - multiple times resulting in his death? Are police marksmen not trained to shoot in order to disable rather than kill? It may well be revealed that this clearly very disturbed individual raped and murdered the woman he abducted but the gardai clearly would not have known if this were the case at the time.
