    We’ll probably lose.

What’s the weather like today around Belfast?
    Wet and overcast?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,547 ✭✭✭Jump_In_Jack

Would wet conditions suit either team?

Ospreys, tight forward based game and fan out defence.

Lydiate is just back from injury, Wonder if that’s a possible weakness.

Diack is possibly a poor selection also though, hopefully he has a huge last performance.

Think diack is because we have literally no line options and possibly going for the most mobile back row possible.

Dry now. But cool and overcast.

Blue dots are empty seats. Even the terraces are showing as blue which means good availability.

Agreed honestly think they'll be well up for it but just don't have the fire power. I'm dreading Tipuric!

In fairness, Tipuric was playing when we beat them last time, I think. It's our losses - Best, Hendo, Rea, Deysel, Trimble/Bowe that make me think this will be a painful mismatch.

No way Ulster lose this game

    No, Tipuric wasn’t playing then.

Fair enough. I don't rate Lydiate and his return doesn't concern me. If we had those four forwards back, I'd expect to win at home.

Worried about scrums also, that's two big lumps in the row for them.
Osprey's are very coy at ruck time and will slow ball down all game and just spread out knowing we can't get over the game line, mean while Tipuric will be eating up turnovers. The referee must allow us fast ball to have a chance.
Mobility is our advantage, all crash ball needs to go through Bigger and un settle him. Get him rumbled and barking at referee.

Kane out as well. Enjoy your first start, Tom O'Toole...

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,408 ✭✭✭launish116

God this is gonna be a long afternoon.
First start for O'toole followed by a unfit Ah You who hasn't played in weeks.

Was pretty confident Ulster were going to win this, getting nervous now.
Ospreys in no way deserve a spot after finishing 11 points even behind Benetton.
