Going to a wedding today. Just went to the wardrobe to take out my dress and I can’t find it! 3 wardrobes in the House and it’s in none of them. Had shoes and fascinator and nails based round that dress. **** it anyway.

    No, I’m not the bride

Ah geez Mol, hope you get it, that is a disaster! you didnt send to get cleaned anywhere?

Well it my own wedding and it was pretty sedate actually. Few drinks with the siblings and an aunt or 2 at 5am in the morning in the residents bar. My dress had ripped about halfway through the day so I was in dress #2 by that stage. I never lost the dress though!

Strawbs........ have you checked any suitcases? Maybe a hot press? is it in a bundle of clothes in a backpack or gym bag?

    Are you wearing it?

Is there a prize/reward for the one of us who suggests the correct place to find it?

    it was always gold/white!! :p

It was always blue and black. Some primitive minds just havent evolved to process blue and black properly, and see those colours as yellow and gold.

actually I read that the younger people were more likely to perceive it as white and gold and older people black and blue. At the time, gold and white clothing was everywhere and that probably impacted the perception of those viewing the dress!

I can confirm this is true. For the first 24 hours of the phenomenon, I could only see it as white/gold. After that I could only see it as blue/black. That extra day in age made all the difference and pushed me over the threshold. Now, when I look at it I still struggle to believe how I ever saw it as white/gold.

Uhm, you lasted a day as the OP. Just so you knows :D

There was a technical issue and it had to be changed to a Mod if I remember correctly.

Bella Italia. We booked it through eurocamps but there's tonnes of ways to book, it's a massive site (biggest on Lake Garda I think)

Really excited as bar a week in Butlins with the eldest lad, we haven't been able to afford a trip of this scale over the past few years due to me being out of work :(

But enough of that, it's holiday time! Just survive the drive to airport and 6.15am flight tomorrow morning...
