Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Brings back memories alright! .. never started one that easy... and they forgot the decompression levers that allowed you get a run-up!
That's classic! Ya beat me to it. (I was going to write "at least we were spared him reaching for the decompression lever"). Listers were easy to start compared to Stuart Turners!0 -

Been stuck in hospital with the young lad for the the past month it's was a bit of a roller coaster ride but we are home now, nil by mouth and on oxygen at night
just another thing to overcome but it will not stop us boating now if I can just figure out how to convert a Diesel engine to run on oxygen :rolleyes:

I took this photo a few years ago when we were working on a boat on the pier in howth, this was what was gathered in one corner of the harbour on an ebbing tide, the amount of drinks bottles was disgusting and the larger drums being in the water was unreal

It is a bit sickening and embarrassing to see the state of some of our beaches and waterways there are some great clean up groups working on the canals and the likes of Skerries where they have "adopt- a- beach" https://skerriesnews.ie/beach/ we can all help a little by just picking up 3 pieces while walking along the beach.
