The new season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt lands on May 30th.
It'll be a split season (6 episodes at end of month, and 6 episodes later this year).

But this will be the last season of it too! :(

That's a terrible attempt at a review by The Guardian... it's a synopsis rather than a review. It basically describes the entirety of the first episode.

Sounds like a good show but that review just described the first episode in detail! :(

Couple episodes into Rain and really enjoying it. Haven’t watched a full Netflix series since unabomber and mindhunter but this one is reeling me in.

I found the Rachel divide quite interesting. I don’t see how her choosing her race is different to someone choosing their sex. Yes she should have prob should ha e said it from the start that she was biological born white but the hatred she got after was a bit much. Feel sorry for her kids though she should not drag them into this.

You can’t apparently identify as a black woman unless you have gone through the struggles of being a black woman.....

Manhunt the new John Woo Netflix movie was added.

A reminder that he used to make some great fun action movies.

Just watched greg Davies stand up. Best stand up i have seen.

Don’t think I’ve ever laughed as hard as I did when he talked about the teddy bear he had when he was younger.

Big fan of the Staircase so looking forward to this from the same guys. One of the strangest bank robbery attempts in history where a pizza delivery man in Erie, Pennsylvania was forced to rob a string of banks while wearing a bomb strapped tightly around his neck.

Fair enough his recent output has been pish... but "Bullet in The Head", "The Killer", "A Better Tomorrow" and arguably one of the greatest action flicks ever with "Hard Boiled" means I'll always be at least interested in what he's at. "Face Off" is a bit of insane fun, and even "Hard Target" with the silver shotgun and maximum gratuitous doves has some great moments. I'll even give "Broken Arrow" some credit for the "ain't it cool" line.

    ....but aye, recently pure garbage.

Different team making this. Should be interesting though

The Staircase was made by a French guy. 3 new episodes coming to Neflix later this year

Never could quite bring myself to watch 30 Minutes or Less. The real life case would have been in my mind the entire time.

Watched These Final Hours last night. It's an Australian movie about the end of the world. A meteor has hit Earth and it is a matter of hours before Australia becomes completely obliterated and Jimmy is on his way to a party to get obliterated himself before the main event. Along the way, he rescues a young girl who has been kidnapped and about to be used as a play thing by two scumbags. The film follows his attempts to find a way to reunite the girl with her family so he can get back to his original plan. A plan that slowly derails as the young girls presence prove away at his conscience. I really enjoyed the movie and the two leads work so well together and their relationship never feels trite or cliched. The movie gives a good sense of the world unraveling and how different people deal with the coming apocalypse even if it does feel a little devoid of people at times. All the same, it's stuck with me today which is always the sign of a good movie today.

Watched the first episode of Seven Seconds last night.
I like the story so far, but by jaysus, the acting is something awful. Hopefully that picks up.

Watched Rain up to episode six. Whilst i like sci fi/ dystopia. I can't say i've enjoyed this series. Though I think it was just made for a primarily teenage audience. I did like the flashback scenes, that's about it.

Finished Rain earlier, it was good. I kinda think they missed an opportunity to make it better though. Watchable, but not much more than that.

As much as I love a lot about it, performances and style etc, it's dragging badly for me around episode 5/6. Even though it's only 8 episodes and quite short episodes at that. I'll definitely finish it out, but yeah, slightly disappointed.

Yeah I'm not feeling Rain much either. On episode 4 and not pushed to go back.
