    personally, i think getting rid of Salah is a waste of a transfer if you already have him. if i didn't have him, I'd probably leave it, but if you have him, it's too risky not to have him.

    he's very unlikely to be rested. i'd wait until the press conference after the Champions League tie before doing anything at all.

    Jesus Jay Rod in Vardy and Murray out

    Only headache now is who to triple captain??
    Kane Son Sterling Jesus ???

    The Chelsea game is now a big one since Chelsea can now potentially pip Liverpool to 4th place. Salah absolutely starts if fit. And up against his former team. Also, for gw38 I expect Liverpool to go full strength, since, assuming they get to the CL final, there's 2 weeks from gw38 to the final

    Will sterling play both games ??
    Presume everyone will be on Kane so TC won't give much differential

    That's the conundrum re. Sterling. Though I'm not sure everyone will be on Kane TC. More people like a differential at this stage maybe because they're chasing a lead in a minileague. Interesting to see how Kane fares tonight. Himself, Sterling and Jesus will inevitably be the 3 most highly captained for 37. But there's other options there - another City or Spurs mid, Sanchez maybe, Giroud?!

    Have Son also but he has potential to be rotrsted with Lamela

    Have 9 DGWers before a transfer butt hat includes Mustafi (I know :rolleyes:) Willian and Silva. Given none started in 36 surely they get at least one run in 37?

    Not sure who to transfer? Have 2.2 in the back, so am looking at either dumping Wood or Milojovevic. Probably the former as there is no one that appealing for the money.

    Thinking of Arno but thats a risk.

    My lead in my ML is 48 going into tonight where 2nd has Eriksen as captain and also have Davies and Ali. No room for error.

    Using TC as well this weekend. Has to be Kane doesnt it?

    De Gea
    Dummet Chilwell Lowton (1 game)
    Salah (1) Son Mahrez Willian
    Barnes (1) Kane (TC) Lukaku

    Ryan Gudmundsson Mariappa Simpson

    Looking at Mahrez & Lukaku to Sterling and Jesus and putting them in my 11 keeping the same bench, Any one any input on this? Ive 2 FT's so no hits for those moves.

    It looks like that Lukaku will miss one of the dgw games so pondering Giroud as a replacement which allow a decent midfield upgrade on Gudmarrsson.

    Any reason to doubt Giroud getting 120mins at least?

    Yes. Could easily see him getting 30 mins total over both games.

    Thinking of Sterling for Salah for the double gameweek

    An awful pity as I'd love to risk him but a fear of small minutes is very off putting.

    Get rid of Marhez for City mid.
    Leicester on the beach
    Madness not having any city cover

    He's about the only player I'd get Salah out for this GW. But I'd still be wary enough.

    After Lukaku to Jesus, I'm now looking at Mili & Vardy to Eriksen and Ayew (as before). That'll leave me with 10 DGW players plus Salah (who I dare not take out!). I also plan to captain Salah in GW 38 just because he deserves the final captaincy after such a good season. :pac:

    Yep, sorry Eriksen for Salah. Giroud for Vardy.

    Lulaku to Jesus done and will prob try get Sterling pr City defender in as well for 10 DGW and Salah

    Am I mad to consider using my Bench boost on GW38?I will only have 2 players on the bench to use and next game week have 3.
    I can do Salah to Ali and Zaha to Sane for -4 ,that gives me 10DGW players and have a nice team for the last game.

    Salah out Eriksen in taughts
    Have Sterling Jesus Kane Son already

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,815 ✭✭✭bantee

    2 FTs so Mahrez & Lukaku to Sterling & Jesus. Now I’ve a few problems left in team: Christie, Simpson, Willian, Masuaku, Kenedy. A -8 or -12 on the cards yet I think

    Have midfield of Son,Sterling,Zaha,Salah and Gudmondsen.....have Firmino,Jesus and Lukaku as current attack.
    0.8m short of Lukaku to Kane.
    Anyone suggest another forward worth going for or should I do 2 transfers for a -4 hit?

    Doubt Lukaku will play both GW37 games now.

    Thanks for any advice.

    Surely Sane or Ali for Salah and then get get with the extra funds.

    Hmmmm, right now Alli's looking a better bet than Eriksen.

    Because of one goal,If I had the funds I get Eriken but will have to get Ali as I want Sane aswell.

    Are many going all out this gameweek?

    Whichever City midfielder or attacker is likely to get most minutes. Sterling due a rotation? Will Jesus start both?

    Looking at a -8 at the moment

    Hegazi -> Cedric
    Salah -> Arnie
    Firmino -> Kane

    That gives me 11 starters with a DGW.
    Pope,
    Ogbonayang, Cedric, Chilwell, Dummet
    Mahrez (shakes head), Arnie, Sterling,
    Kane, Jesus, Auba

    Will be playing BB too for my single GW players. I'd be happy with 12 points from this lot
    Pope, VVD, McArthur, Cork.

    Hegazi has Spurs at home but I'm tempted to move VVD on instead as it'll give me more funds but I can afford Arnie and Kane anyway.

    I'm playing FH and both WCs this week though. That along with All out Attack as well.

    Hoping for a whopping score.

    Anyone think pogba is a good option this week.

  • Registered Users Posts: 674 ✭✭✭carnie

    It has really depressed me that I'm considering bringing Ogbonna back to the team.

    The first lot of housekeeping for DGW

    Lowton -> Ogbonna
    Mili -> Tadic
    Barnes -> Ayew

    Exciting stuff.

    This just leaves me with the question of keeping Salah, and to a lesser extent Willian.

    I think Pogba, Martial, Rashford could all be good options with Lukaku getting the cotton wool treatment from Jose. It's the rotation that fries my egg:confused:

    Thinking Firmino & Tosun out for J Ayew & Jesus. Don't trust Kane for TC. I fear Sterling might not play both games while Jesus is nailed on :pac: So Jesus for TC ........
    For now TBC

    I think Sterling is more nailed than Jesus. Could well see Jesus rested and Sterling played up top.

    Smalling or Mawson for the 3 game ****storm that is 37/38?

    Smalling plays for a better team with a better defence. Both players carry an attacking threat. Mawson does not carry a rotation risk, and Swansea will be playing for their lives against Bournemouth, Southampton and Stoke.

    Answers on a postcard please and alternative options that are of equal or lesser price to Smalling will also be considered.

    +1 on the answers on a postcard to the following;
    Jesus or Auba?
    both have dgw but auba more nailed on with a little more to play for even though their 6th spot should be secure now.

    Beam me up Scotty.
