To be honest OP where Dublin is concerned, the arrogant c**t quotient is pretty resistant to economic ebbs and flows...

If someone asked me to point out where any credibility you may have had went out the window, I'd be hard pressed to go past this.

You must have missed the brexit thread where he reckoned the UK military is stronger than all 27 EU armies combined, and that they'd be within their rights to use military force against the rest of the countries of the EU if they don't get what they want in Brexit negotiations.

    After Ross O'Carroll-Kelly (https://www.irishtimes.com/life-and-style/people/instagramming-your-food-will-result-in-you-being-violently-removed-from-the-premises-1.3432588)
I've never seen Sorcha and Honor so excited. We've managed to get a table – cue drumroll – in Il Sommo Poeta in Ranelagh. For those of you who've never had the pleasure, it's one of those restaurants that styles itself as an “exclusive dining club”. They don't take reservations – they actually answer the phone with a straight, “Fock off!” – and yet there's a 12-month waiting list for a table. To get in, you have to be recommended by someone who's already eaten there, then sit through a 30-minute pre-interview, at which Enzo, the maître-d, explains what they call “The Rules”. It's 500 yoyos to secure a seat, non-refundable in the event of cancellation; Instagramming your food will result in you being violently removed from the premises; and you are forbidden from explaining your food intolerances to the staff because they genuinely couldn't give a Foxtrot Oscar Charlie Kilo.As a matter of fact, you're required to sign a 32-page allergy waiver before they'll even confirm your booking. It's one of those restaurants that would make you feel genuinely proud that we've bounced back as a nation, and yet you know that when the next recession hits, it'll be gone within the hour. Sorcha is in her element, by the way. She goes, “Erika was – oh my God – so jealous when I told her we were coming here.” I'm there, “What's the food like – have you heard anything?” “Why is that important?” “Well, I'm kind of storving? ” - “There's so much more to a restaurant than whether the food tastes nice, Ross. It's not 2011 anymore.”

tradesmen are back charging every bit as much as they did twelve years ago for the simple reason there are impossible to get due to a chronic shortage , majority of electricians are charging up on four hundred quid per day right now

Then it’s down to supply and demand, not arrogance

My local credit union are nearly out on the street throwing loans at people literally any reason they can come up with to give loans out really seem to be pushing them. Same with banks loans, credit cards, car finance no issue. Probably a sign they all have too much savings being held on deposit. Not sure if spending is back near what it was at peak but it is picking up.

Chips in any of my local chippers are €2.00-€2.50 per bag.

€2.20 for a bag of chips in my local chip shop. Arrogance is setting back in. The number of 2018 SUVs on the road tells you that.

As a former electrician , I will be telling my boss to stick reports up her hole in the morning.

As a former contracting union electrician AKA lazy bastard , the most I ever earned was fifty eight thousand one year.

You're just saying that because the communists are holding your family hostage.

    Communists.

    COMMUNISTS

    COMMUNISTS

    COMMUNISTS

    COMMUNISTS

Replace 'holidays' with 'Communists', because they're coming. Those vans aren't red by accident.

    Stay woke.

The tiger roars when you see the crew cab 4x4s outside the pub with no tow bar.

    Do you get more now?
I can do your reports after you go back into contracting to earn €400 a day. :D
